For me? Heavy shielded, lots of firepower (at least 12 heavy lasers, 4+ emp, 4+ heavy missiles, 6 artillery cannons). Mobility is kinda secondary for me, as long it is good enough to keep positioning on the tovera.

As per the ship, I did kill toveras with any of the endgame CVs and SVs from my Workshop. Some are better suited to it, some less so but still work. Flying Experience and the right upgrades are much more important than the hull you choose.

That said, my personal preferance when it comes to fighting toveras specifically is probably my Eclipse MKII (with some upgrades obviously).

What is your preferred CV when fighting Tovera's?
I know that everyone's combat style is different,but knowing other peoples choices might help.

Have done Matrixes now with both, lasers and plasma. Lasers are a bit faster. Don't recommend trying a Tovera with this ship.

What weapons config are you guys running when fighting Capacitor Matrix or Tovera's?

@Silentcatfox, @ente Exactly. The scythe is one of the few SVs in the workshop that can easily fly into the tube, hide by the gens or Antennas, deplete the shields and Core the Capaciator Matrix. With a little experience its 2 Ultra Rare Containers and around 100 drone parts per Matrix (+ whatever you decide to farm after killing the matrix (the Drones around it also yield a bit)
All that without much risk and very early in your playthrough.

The mix of storage, maneuverability, firepower and its small frame make it perfect for it. Just speed in, kill it, loot, speed out, store loot in a cv, hop back and kill the next matrix. If you mess up, just spawn another scythe, cause its cheap.

Well matrixes arent that hard to kill with SVs :3 As long as you manage to get inside the tube, without being blown up. (which isnt so hard, since most of the swarms weapons are either rockets that dont do much dmg against shield, or non-beam-cannons, making the first not so harmfull and the later avoidable) none of the turrets can hit you in there and the Scythe is nicely small, so i suppose it can rotate in there very easily. Im mean a Reaper can fly through the tube and thats one a lot bigger xD
Killed quite some nullifiers with a 0% modified Reaper too. Maybe i will try out killing Nullifiers with the Scythe next >:3

@Der Radiator: Thats interesting, I have heard about people killing matrixes with SVs, but never tried it yet myself.

It is my favorite capacitor matrix killer. Makes farming drone swarm a charm!

I have taken down countless Toveras with this thing... and countless Toveras have taken me out, in turn!

Should be a nice fit for the explorer, untill i have enough things together to build a Reaper :3
