Any mod that replaces antlion animations are incompatible like fixed episodic npcs or half life 2 animation fix

for me i just see the normal antlion only the texture is not the same

I don't understand your question, but yes, it uses the model in the thumbnail and that replaces the default Antlion model

i think this would make a great antlion type maybe make it slightly larger and give it some ability and it would be a cool ew npc

These are Antlion replacements, i'd like to learn how to make addons so i could make these their own NPCs though.

A workaround with the incompatibility with Half Life 2 Animation Fix would be to extract this addon and place it directly in your Gmod addon folder, which fixes the incompatibility because addons in the addons folder take priority over workshop addons.

If you want these guys to explode on death you could use the Model Manipulator addon and apply this model to the Antlion Worker, they don't spit in the mod though so of course that's an inaccuracy.

Well going off of your profile it looks like you find bugs cute so its not really a surprise that you'd find the Antlions cute.
They're kind of cute when they aren't actively trying to kill you.
