So I can see the flute in the crafting menu but even though I have flute I can't craft it... it's just forever greyed out. HELP??

Anyway to change the buttons for the lute/flute/drums? No offense I love the mod but I hate how each of them have different ways of playing, I have no idea how to play the lute since I don't have a Am, am, A#, or Dm key!

im experiencing a weird bug,when equipping any of the instruments, it just gets me stuck in the playing animation and i cant do anything, not even abled to exit. Yes, i have SKSE.

any ideas?

be me be dragonborn, its rainy outside and im all wet so i go in to the bannered mare for a drink, i silently kill mikael, everyone is in panic, i pull out the lute to play zelda's lullaby from zelda ocarina of time to calm them down, i did it perfectly til the last note because i couldnt hit the note with the arrow keys, guard comes in and says I have commited crimes against skyrim and her people so he takes me to jail where i become the prison wife of the ebony warrior. 10/10 would be his prison wife again

all i can do is click the instrument when in my inventory and it auto plays a random song.... and yes i have SKSE

For everybody's reference: this mod uses scripting functions only available with SKSE. The ability to read which key you're pressing is why skse is required. That is why some of you are having problems playing notes and getting out of the animation.

There can be no version without SKSE. It is absolutely required.

Then I recommend using a clean save. So revert to a save before you got the item. If that doesn't work, skse is not working properly.

im pretty sure i downloaded the skse , and i used the skse file the luanch skyrim, still didnt work properly

It means you either didn't install skse right, or you're simply not using it to launch Skyrim.

i just fixed my problem but ran into another, i had my guy play the lute and the animation was going to play said instrument but no sound came out when pressing arrow keys or notes and i pressed space but couldnt exit the playing having my guy stuck in animation, so again what hell mate?

i downloaded your skse and i still cant equipt a lute even when i got this mod and click the skse, What hell? someone properly explain this to me or message me here on steam please.

Couldn't get it to work properly. Made a FLUTE, equipt it and LUTE animations started. No sounds played and once ur in the skit ur stuck

@Accessless it is a PLAYABLE lute, which means you have to play it. Press buttons and stuff.

SKSE is a Skyrim Script Extender for those who were wondering and ya, I can use the flute but nothing plays and I can't exit. Is this the part that requires SKSE?
