Unfortunately there's no way for scripts to declare war with the diplomacy screen. Be assured that allies will join into the war as per usual. You should still get an alert on the top right, so you can tell from that instead of having to look through every single faction manually. Mod doesn't need any updates to work but I'll look to see if there's any improvements I can make.

This mod is one of the most important mods in my personal setup. One can mixture about with the campaign AI trying to improve it's performance but without atleast one constant war target the AI starts to perform poorly. This mod has given me several great campaigns that have been more brutal than any unmodded Legendary campaign before it has. It does have the issue of not seeing the war declarations but that's a minor price to pay.

Nice mod. But it seems that script doesn't work when Base opinion Threshhold (-200) equals opinion floor (-200). As soon as I changed it to -175 and -200 I got 20+ war declarations in a single turn lol

mod works great but theres no war declaration pop up when the script triggers. You basically have to manually check your diplomacy tab to see who has declared war on you each turn. Mod works great otherwise.

there is a bug where it wont show anymore if someone declared war on you. The Window which appears when someone declared war wont show up.

Does this mod still work? I'm hesitant to try it because it's been a while since it was updated and new DLC just dropped, but this is my favorite mod for making the AI declare more wars without going overboard.

the challenger armies from norsca (when you reach lvl 3 allegiance) arent immune to war declaration either, meaning they dont really b-line towards the player and can be killed by other AI

Actually, I'm not sure why vassals are having war declared on them, I had checks in place that should have prevented vassals declaring or being declared on by the script. I'll do some testing.

@muikku I'm currently 20 turns into a MP SFO game with 300 mods so this mod likely isn't the cause.
@Pimpin Pippin and @Azerty I can fix that, oops. Forgot that vassals don't technically count as allies.

This mod resolved a big pain in my ass that somehow there was a faction I cannot declare war against. This mod made that faction declared war on me, what a wonderful outcome!

there seems to be a glitch where this mod bypasses the restictions against declaring war on vassals and since you don't "respond" to the call to war (which doesnt trigger) it tanks your reliability while still keeping your vassal contract up.

this makes playing as N'kari basically impossible.

Would it please be possible to make Ice Court and Orthodoxy not declare war on one another from this mod?
By game design those two factions can not declare war on one another despite hating each other, but this mod can bypass that restriction and so the entire Kislev area always falls apart in civil war.

Thank you for making this mod, I made it so AI will only do one war at a time rather than making many multi-front wars. This more human-like behavior leads to AI factions growing a lot more powerful overall from what I've seen!

@AceTheGreat, I've tried FifTifty's mod but everyone declares a war on everyone next to them from turn 1 if their relationship is slightly negative. I tried to lower the threshold but still doesn't seem to do anything.

FiftyTifty has a similar mod on Nexusmods, but it has fewer features. The war declaration chance is constant and does not scale and there's no limit for concurrent wars, but it achieves a similar result.

I download this mod and the next round, my good friend Arkhan the Black comes running for a defensive alliance with 5 wars to his name.

(Only issue I can see thus far is that 10 rounds may not be enough time to recover from the negative relations of waging a war. Peace treaties should probably give a relations boost similar to when an AI becomes your vassal)

No idea what happened, but this worked fine for IEE, I seen it work like month ago, but probably 4.2 broke something. Does not seem to work for me anymore on IEE.

I am not sure what is going on but sometimes this mod just refuses to work.
I have it set to -1 max wars, grace 0, base opinion -50, opinion floor -50, base chance 100, max chance 100.
Yet i see multiple AI that have -300 opinion with one another and yet they just refuse to declare war with each other.
Chaos dwarves living peacefully next to greenskins and cathay living in harmony next to warriors of chaos and skaven.
If you can please take a look.
