Hello, I'm stuck on the /el mission. I got the DECHead and Decypher tool's, but I have zero clue where to use them. I'm not seeing any files around on all the devices for the mission, the only thing slightly resembling a hint is the mem dump files with have DEC_ENC in them, but every time i try using either tool it tells me its not DEC encrypted

George works for Apfel so his phone uses a custom password . Maybe George left a hint somewhere, maybe on George Conputer ? If you still can't find it, maybe consider which password is a location and that almost every phone uses the username "admin" . If you still can't get in, the phone login is: username: admin password: colorado . Happy hacking!

Wait, it does!? Something is bugged with my installment then cause when I self fork bomb, it creates the process but never consumes more ram and thus never crashes.

also, the forkbomb still kills lunar defender :P

Really enjoying the extension so far, but a bit tough after a long break. Im currently stuck in Vap0rs computer, don't really know where to go from it because eos doesn't find anything, nor does scan and I have no lead (even after uploading Backport in it)

I see you fixed the forkbomb method of killing LunarDefender, but uh... now the shell trap for my machine doesn't work as it depends on forkbomb to operate.

Subscribed to this thread to hear any changes and help people who are lost. Since someone has decided to say the extension sucks without clarifying why I'm going to go play it again out of spite. :)

it suck that basic game mechanics works in some cases and do not in other cases... like someone does not know what they are doing. it is so annoying that i do not care even finis this poorly made extension...

I'm stuck with Project PF. I looked at the other comments and saw I need ppf_assets.rar, but I've been around all the nodes I've unlocked so far, and I can't find even a trace of it. I got PPF_Files.rar, PPF_Press_Assets.zip, ppf_tests.sys, and the LunarOS_roadmap. Is it just a case of renaming PPF_Files.rar, or am I missing something from one of the nodes?

Gahhh, another weird Hacknet behavior... I'll push out an update later today or tomorrow. Might as well fix that LunarDefender bug while I'm at it too

I figured out the issue! There is 2 ways of accessing george conputer you can use porthack which does trigger apfel3 or you can use the password found on George's ApfelX which does NOT count as gaining admin access and thus does NOT trigger apfel3 !

Restarted my profile today and apfel3 is now working again. Some added tomfoolery on my part, I like ram and since you can't kill lunar defender I learned that you can still get rid of it by forkbombing your own computer I doubt that's intentional, if there's side effects please let me know. Aside from that back to the hack, ta-ta. :)

That shouldn't be required, though... I'll look into it later. It was definitely working a couple days ago, as a friend of mine completed it without issue 🤔

Just going to compile my many comments into this one and purge the old ones. If you have an issue with george conputer not giving you the apfel3 key like it's supposed to then close the game, head to "%userprofile%\Documents\My Games\HacknetPathfinder\Accounts\(Pathfinder)_Hacknet_Planned_Obsolescence/save_YOURUSER.xml" on your computer, search for <Flags> in your save data and add apfel3 to them. After that just reboot the game and proceed as normal. Happy hacking. :)

Can you enable debug mode for Hacknet and send what "printflags" returns when you use it in the terminal?

Stuck on the first mission, George's Tsukivault key (Key 3, specifically), doesn't work when I download it. I got it from his computer (george computer), but when I go onto the Apfel Tsukivault server, it says I don't have Key 3

You need to find a master password. Look around the servers you went through recently; and then use that password on the vault server.

Currently having the same problem as DEJA_BLUE_V2, Trinity is talking in a loop after complething the /el mission, and the heisters have stopped talking

I dont like this plot.This feeling of being manipulated is disgusting,cause I had that enough in my real life and work.

I appear to be stuck. After uploading backport to viper's PC and completing the el sec mission then trinity starts talking and after a while her speech starts again and it doesn't stop. U'm not sure if this is intentional and I'm missing something but I'm not sure how to get out of it

I cannot get into Alice's mail account despite me typing in their password exactly as it appears in the account file.

Currently, mine is the only one. I know there's a couple people in the extensions Discord working on some, though!

Where can I find more pathfinder mods?

UPDATE: Ok nevermind! I just had to copy and paste the files to the main Extension directory itself.
