1. Click the green "Code" button and select "Download as ZIP".
2. Extract the archive and copy the "Handcuffer Legacy" folder to the Barotrauma/LocalMods directory.
3. Launch the game and activate the mod.

@BinaryKnight101, I've uploaded the 2023 version [github.com] of my project to GitHub, as I was unable to determine the cause of the issue or behavior that players were experiencing.

As I mentioned in my previous comment, the behavior of being able to handcuff a non-stunned character was unintended, so I was unable to "add" this feature to my new version.

this is the error I got in the console.

I want the ability to change keybind to other than A-Z and 0-9.

because while Im typing in chat I can triggered the mods upon press the key and if Im holding someone then causing them to be strip out is pain to clean their item.

ofc I did try changing keybind to something else but it cause a rapid error in the console.
so rapidly that make my fps goes from 60 to 18. (I even already have performance fix).
change key back to A-Z stop the error.

Короче, парни, я долго ковырял мод, не нашёл той механики, о которой вы говорили.

1. Заковать в наручи чужого NPC или другого игрока не получилось.
2. Заковать в наручи «куклю» (Space или стан) получилось.
3. Работает одинаково на версиях 2023 и 2025.

Поступил проще: залил версию 2023 без изменений на GitHub [github.com], можете качать и пользоваться, хз чем отличаются.

В том и дело, что раньше можно было заковать даже не оглушенных людей)

Проверил, успешно заковывает в наручи оглушённых игроков

после обновы на людях не работает, сегодня, когда ты откатывал на людях связывание работало

@Ghost, насколько я помню, то был баг от разработчиков, из-за которого инвентарь субъекта был доступен всегда. И его пофиксили.

Мой мод всегда работал на стороне клиента и позволяет заковать в наручи только собственных ботов

Раньше мод позволял заковывать, просто взяв за ручки чела, т.е. даже станить не надо было. Это был баг, или же фича, которую ты решил вырезать? Просто я б попросил вернуть прикол, что можно заковывать насильно, это невероятно полезно. Просто без этого я расстреливал руин и дураков, а с такой фичей - заковывал и пусть существуют, дальше не моя забота.

there is a bug, when handcuffing someone, it seemed to only put handcuffs in their inventory

@BinaryKnight101, singleplayer or multiplayer? Did you change your handcuff keybinds before the update?

I can't quick handcuff anymore after update

Sounds like an issue that need to be tested and fixed, I'll check it later

Ah. Yes i did actually test this in single player... on outpost AI strangely enough it did work after some... time?

@Ralsei, depends on WHERE did you test it cuz it definitely works in multiplayer but not in singleplayer. I was gonna tinker mod a lil' bit to fix that behavior

Anyway I would appreciate if you could clarify the where, how, what, why, and other questions to define the problem

I just tested this.... and it SEEMS like the quick hand cuff thing doesnt work but the quick strip does work

Handcuffer only allows you to swiftly handcuff immobilized human even if their inventory is full
It is QoL mod actually, but still may be considered as a cheat
