In order to cut down the potential of ghost event popups, I've reverted it to the original design that the AI's relationship effect is now done through a separate effect and hidden events.

And to be honest I believe its a quirk to be fixed (or explored at least) on the mod author of travelers..
Because I noticed that also when hiring a physician sometimes an event fires as if he’s at your court although he’s still on the roads (similar to the weddings event)
mmm_pow is part of Prisoners of War, Foundation Framework etc and not this mod.
