Well I am not sure then, like I say if its appearing in the list of videos then it should work. I just tested to make sure an update hadn't broken it recently and all my videos still play wtihout issue.

I recommend making sure they are 640x360 resolution or the same ratio as that.

If the video is appearing to pick but just black, I recommend trying a different video format, MP4 I know works.

Could you make a tutorial on YouTube or something like that? The videos appear black and don’t work for me, and the description doesn’t explain much either.

If you go to your Wrestling empire installation, then there should be a BepInEx folder within it, then a plugins folder within that, for example mine is in:
C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Wrestling Empire\BepInEx\plugins

If you get to there, you should be able to work out which folder is for the mod and simply delete it yourself manually there.

IDEA for UPDATE: If possible, Computer Monitors and other video screens can also show Entrance Videos? And/or Replaying Screens?

As long as its in the "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Wrestling Empire\BepInEx\plugins\Videos" folder, the video should appear ingame with the mod to select, if it doesn't then can only assume its using a format that unity doesn't like.

I've imported my video files, however they are not showing up in the Character Editor screen - however the Video option is there. Any help? Thank you!

how does the video setting work inside of the character editor? i placed my entrance video in there but I cannot seem to select it

@TBgamer No idea personally. Not had that happen with any video I ever tried. You could always try rerecording the video by recording it in OBS and seeing if the new copy from that works would be my only suggestion.

I can't move the screen from the Epic arena to the standard one, but the standard one already has me making one as close to them as I can anyway.

You can replace the videos that come originally

Default is use as the standard video for cross promo or if a promo specific video is missing.
The rest are videos that play when it isn't a wrestlers entrance depending on the promotion that is having the match.

But you can replace them with whatever you want, EG if you were replacing a promotion ingame with WWE Raw, you could replace the same promo video in the folder with a video of an animated RAW logo for example.

This is a great mod! My question is that is there any possible way I could use the titantron screens from the Epic Arena and use those for the traditional TV taping arenas? Let's say I may not want to use any of the videos that come along in the mod pack.

Yeah, just to be clear default is basically the fall back option, so if a fed is missing its video, or its inter promo, then it will use the default.

i think my problem was pretty niche, as I deleted the default video and threw my video in and named it default, so there was a default video there it was just also my entrance video, I just didn't know the "default" video was used during the inter-promotional matches so I really dug my self into it, so now i just renamed my video to like fed11, and threw a random default video in there with no sound to fix it

No problem, I probably should put a fail safe in there to just play nothing when a default video is missing but eh, maybe ill look at that if I ever have another reason to update the game.

As long as its not the same file name (And format) as the one you deleted it should pick that up.

Ah i maaaaaay have deleted the default one and replaced it with the video i wanted to use and I'm guessing thats my problem haha

Did you get rid of the "Default.mp4" in the videos folder? As it should use that as the generic screen during a match for inter-promo

Yeah should work, main reason I have videos stored in a specific folder than isn't the same folder where the mod dll exists, is because when steam workshop updates a mod it overwrites everything in the mod folder. So way I have done it prevents steam from deleting everyone's videos when the mod updates.

Oh that's awesome! Thanks for the info too! My idea should work then, as long as I provide a save with the vanilla roster the config file should work. I think I'll have to create an exe though where you specify your videos folder path.

I actually have an update ready so instead of cycling through the videos, it will give a list like when selecting a move for a wrestler. Also will spawn a screen behind wrestler on the edit screen to show the videos you click on.

I am just waiting for the next WECCL update as it needed a small change in there to get this update to work.

For vanilla characters if its a vanilla save the IDs will be the same yes. Only way they would change is if people use WECCL to delete characters which shifts the IDs above the deleted characters ID down by 1.

Would it be possible to view a list of videos? Similar to the Longer Entrances mod? Also do you know if the ids are always the same for the vanilla characters? I am working on a config file to include with a mod of mine so that other players don't have to go through the long process of assigning each video to a wrestler. Thanks!

I think the issue may be IngoH's WECCL.

I've (hopefully) fixed everything by finally deleting the IngoH-WECCL folder and reinstalling all mods basically. I put the Entrance Videos in my "Manual" folder though only and it seems to fix my crashing issue with the object not being found.

The entrance videos doesn't use the save game to store stuff.

If you go in Wrestling Empire\BepInEx\config and there should be a "character_video_mappings.json" this is how it saves who has what video, if it only isn't working with the mod try deleting this file and the mod should regenerate it. Does mean you would need to assign the videos to the characters again but hopefully may fix your issue.

If there is still an issue, check the console and if any errors come up.

Hey so this started working for about 2 days but then while saving my game it had a weird crash. Anyways, my data may be corrupted? I uninstalled the Entrance Video mod and it worked normally again but I can't get the entrance mod to work again. Could having a corrupted save cause issues? And if so? Anyone know if there is any way I can AT LEAST keep my characters I worked so hard to make?! lol. I really want to fix this issue and use entrance videos :'(

If possible, can the original arena also show a replay of the action while wrestling?

I recently updated it so the match preview doesn't spoil mystery partners / opponents. (Will show a shadowy version of the character with any headgear removed to keep it mysterious)

As for title win, I couldn't put the title there as way the preview image is done is by moving the wrestlers there for 1 frame at the start of the match and displaying that.

Could maybe look into doing a text based thing for whoever wins when I get time.

Would it be possible to display a video on the left monitor for a title win based on the title won? I have have a few other ideas too, but I understand if you're finished working with this mod.

You won't erase your save data. It's stored locally on your computer in a separate folder, and is also attached to the Steam cloud unless you've opted out of it.

I also never tried uninstalling and reinstalling since I didn't want to erase my save data by mistake

@Hipnosis, I am going to add a log for this to see if I can confirm the issue. I have a quesiton though, what operating system are you running on and what other mods are you using?

Also have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling and these errors are very weird for just you to be getting so it seems likely to be something environmental.

Strangely your error is coming from when my code is trying to grab the character currently doing their entrance, no sure how you would get to that code with the entering character being null but I have added a null check to it and updated the mod with that which should stop that error.

Not sure how well the rest will work if that is null for you for some reason and maybe you will get another error later due to it but let me know how it goes.

Alright, working now. I swore I unsubbed and resubbed before. Maybe it also helped that I re-opened Steam in between re-subbing, which may have refreshed the download.

Could try unsubbing and resubbing in case it didn't auto update? I tried a few different values and saw it changing so it should change.

Honestly a good suggestion and did think it was too zoomed out. Have just updated mod so it should look a lot better now.

Love the new screens. I was hoping you'd be able to patch in one that actually films the ring, so I'm glad to see you read my mind. Is there any way to zoom that camera in though? It's out super far for me.
