Well, if you have a mineral scanner, the shuttle with mining turret (there is a mod for that, Utility Turrets) and some form of a tractor beam (I dunno if there is a mod for that), you actually can beat the campaign? Seems like a good idea for meta gaming?

if youre welded in then you will survive for as long the reactor is on. Theres nothing else to do. You cant go outside and gather recources. So as long as im not missing something whats the point.

Beating the game with this seems impossible, I'm pretty sure some of the beacons require you to exit your submarine in order to reach.

Rather interesting I think is if you erase the "NO ESCAPE" on the bottom of the submarine, it seems to be titled "RECLAMATOR". Would be interesting to see this submarine in its prime condition.

It appears that being stuck in rusted tin can and being sent to shoot well armed and coordinated submarines of the enemy is desertion inducing.
