permission must be given prior and a lot of mod developers are VERY touchy about that.
as they have legal rights to the code.
anyway, the muzzle breaks and silencers in this mod dont really cooperate with the native game ones.
game lets you mount muzzle breaks and,or silencers in the mod slot the mod creates but still lets you mount the opposite on the native mod slot.
ie you on a assault rifle you can put in a silencer with this mod and still a muzzle break in the normal slot, and then one will overwrite the other.
mod should make the other slot unavailable if an exclusive attachment is chosen anywhere
not a big deal but still a waste of resources :)
But with guns you allready own in a savegame it will not add the additional component options most likely as those guns are allready written into your savegame
Here is my answer:
its basicaly up to date currently and the first couple of guns in ToG make use of components in this mod
your download of tons of components is probably corrupt. i would try to unsubscribe and resubscribe
then in the mod folder delete the Tons of Components folder
That issue only happens when you open the mod with the modeditor.
I just tried the M70D with the Silencer and they do not appear in boxes(wich would be missing textures) and they also do silence the wepaon
Those Components are not available on all weapons

Either dont mod the muzzle, or scrap the gun is my suggestion for now. its not coming from the ToC mod but from the Slot dependency changes n Tons of Guns
Try activating ToC, restart the game. deactivate a random mod, try again with make imp great again and ToC active - chances are it just works. Recently some of these strange issues came up but since its happening to other mods too without ToC involved i assume its a coincidence and rather has to do with activating and deactivating mods
OK, Skunk, I found out the outdated "Crafting items to Squad bag" is in fact responsible for my present plea. You're right, the updated modlist doesn't prove anything. Please forget my two last messages, apologies. Frustration, you know how it tends to be sometime I'm sure.
In fact, your mod helped me get those items back, by unloading and reloading it immedialtely after. Though I need to do that everytime I launch the game, for some reason.
Thanks for the workaround, I guess? At least I get to keep my items.
S, fyi and 100% fact: nothing in this mod has changed with the last update. The fact you can trigger it by disabling or enabling it does not prove its this mod that is causing it.
