What is the problem with my game? When I install the mod, the textures of almost all items disappear and it doesn't even add the new crafting. I had this problem with the other craftbot+ but at least the crafting was there. Can you help me with what I should do because I did everything that was written in the readme.txt?

Then open in notepad & text search ' "stackSize": ' you can increase to 512 or any number you want regarding block capacity of cases.

More items like wedges etc can be found elsewhere for a survival game but windows search

on my PC Won't find that for unknown reasons.
A small third party program called "Everything" will find all text such as "stackSize": will search through the text of all .json files within a directory though.

Basically, no need to make a custom game as this trick works in survival.
Just search and replace ' "stackSize": 256 ' too "stackSize": 512 or however many you want when you find the relevant file.

Blocks.json being one of them.


You can even find component kit drop rate in the harvestable directory and increase it / decrease it with a bit of playining around. IN SURVIVAL.

I have found a way to get it to work on custom Games. That said it does only work on newly Generated saves. So what i did was i went into the (D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\387990\3051604594\ModFiles\Survival) and copied the files in the folder over to the (D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Data\ExampleMods\Templates\Survival Custom Game) Folder.

What this does is when you create a new you get the new stack sizes.. Though this is only after maybe 15 mins of testing. I am still looking to see if it is possible to add it to existing saves.

does this work with custom game modes or only with normal survival, since i'm trying to use it but when i load into any of my custom game modes, it doesn't show the recipes in the craft-bot?

Update the mod to the latest version.

If you use the mod on an already created world, refresh every container by removing then replacing them

works but is laggy with friends and gas container only shows 2 bars when the container is full then one bar when the container is half empty

No there should be more than 4 gold garments.
Do a reinstall by unsubscribing from Craftbot ++ mod, give it a minute then delete the "data" and "Survival Data" folders in Scrap Mechanic, then "Check file integrity" of Scrap Mechanic then when it's done that reinstal Craftbot ++ as per Groupix05's outlne.

That should work but as the Craftbot ++ doesn't really effect the dressbot items (You can't even recycle them) then you may find it's just the main Scrap mechanic game which has lost integrity.
Either way, check your survival mods aren't clashing by unsubscribing then following the instructions above and only using Craftbot ++ mod.
Hopefully that should clear issues.

same for me as @FarmAddict, no recipes, connected input and output chests and fed items and it did nothing. I put recyclable items as shown in the image on this page.

The recycle bot doesn't have a ui it's just yellow screen nothing else do we have a fix for it ?

You need to install the mod on both the client and server, that mean you and your friend need to have the same files. If there is a problem, you or your friend dont have the same game files.

Why i cant play multiplayer with this mod ???

Are there really so few rare yellow box skins in the game? As far as I remember, I received 3-4 things and never opened them again.

@choo. If you have the gold box and you have all the gold unlocked then the clothes bot just greys its button out, same goes for greens & purple

In my game I can sew both green, purple and yellow garment box, in survival. Try reinstalling my mod, try without and maybe try :
- Delete Data and Survival Data in Scrap mechanic folders
- Verify game's integrity
- Reinstall my mod

Don't forget to do backups before.

It's maybe due to the mod, I will check that and upload a fix if it's due to the mod. I will check that later today or in the comming days.

I have a question, it’s impossible for me to sew a yellow clothes box in survival, is it the game that forbids me to sew it because of the mod, or did the mod break something again?

Recycle bot not work, The craftbot menu opens and there is nothing there.

This mod just add recipes for items that cannot be crafted in survival. It adds just a custom bot and pipes. Im just the maintainer of this mod, I dont know how to add new stuff, I can just add new recipes for items that already exist.

Hey do you think that some new wheel recipes could be added? Like more than just the small and big wheel. It looks like this mod just adds recipes not actual blocks/ parts so if u can't do it that's fine.

I do remember adding the recycle bot into the menu of the ship & workshops basic primary craft bot but I never got it to cough a recycle bot out..

I abandoned it and got side tracked into colouring totebots white and having them drop comp kits instead of electronics. ADHD is terrible.

I will try my best to make an update with wedges at the end of the next week. 00Fant already made a mod to add them but only in custom gamemodes, so I will check the ids of those wedges to add them here. I really dont like doing like this but ids are the same for everyone. I was looking into making this mod a block and part mod, so you can add 00Fant's mod to have wedges, but I dont really understand how the craftbot recipes Custom Gamemode works...

My wedges are blank icons in creative so I don't know if I need to unsub then resub or if the mod hasn't had the wedge update imported into it.?
Still fine in survival though without the wedges (Which isn't in survival vanilla / craftbot + )

I only get an icon for scrap stone wedge in creative & the rest are blank icons but they are available.

Dear mod developer, approximately when should we wait for an update of the mod?

Mine still works as of 11 December but I did have a few rubix cube parts in my world. I'm unsure what they were but were possibly warehouse decoration pieces.
I haven't check craftbot recipes for blank icons. So... IDK but seems it's in a good working order as is.

I don't think implementing wedges to the craft bot is that difficult. I will try do add them when I have some time. But I still need to make this mod a block and part mod.

I have an update ready for upload, to fix some issues with 0.7.0 but scrap modding tools doesnt work rn

@Groupix05 You May have a problem with updating craftbot++ as I started a fresh vanilla survival & there's no updated wedges or parts in the vanilla crafting menu on survival, only in creative.
I even validated the game files.

You do get the "smart physics" option in settings, so the official game update is definitely installed on my game. but no custom wedges available in survival vanilla which would be a nightmare / impossibility to implement.

The items in the recyclebot are not showing up

the packing table holder is now in the craftbot, if this is the right thing you wanted.

Would you be able to add the packing table holder as a recipe for this mod? Similar to the license plate recipe but with only 5 metal. I noticed that the other crafting recipe mod does not exist anymore, and this one is the only other alternative.

If you install this mod on an save, you need to remove and replace the container for it to work correctly with higher stacks. You need to refresh it

I feel like this kinda mess with the display level of containers, for example, a full container won't have all it's lights on
