Am I doing it correctly though yeah, I just open my inventory and I press the Radio while it is my backpack?

I have climbed to the top of multiple Radio towers, I have spam pressed the radio in my inventory, as well when it is equipped and nothing happens.
Is something supposed to happen?
How do I contact survivors?

If you can't turn this off, it's no fun.
Yes i also wanted to use the mods you have suggested. However the issue is those scripts will not activate upon a save game,melee anims wont work after a reload. So in the context of a persistent mission such as this,its useless unfortunatley,which is why i suggested this as a light weight alternative.
nice to be able to play Dayz and just "chill"

i find your suggested melee mod very frustrating. exspecially bare hands.. lol
if i was to use another melee mod such as improved melee combat or Melee deprechiated.
woudl that then also automatically add the melee weapons into the loot pools or is this again somthing that is difficult?
also maybe consider including one of these two mods into the scenario to allow a more fluid melee experience
Or at least allow a dude to spawn with a gun maky with 1 mag?
or maybe a melee weapon if u decide to get one of those mods working in the pack

However,its on hold (annual Arma3 break) as i need to refresh and work on other games. It will be resumed in the future and a version of this mod,on Livonia will be released. This mod will also get updated at that time with more features.
But yeah spawns are random,military loot can be found in military areas but often youll also find nothing,there is a "reset" of loot spawns over time to allow a continous experience though
I'm not even talking about the ammo, I've not found more than two of any weapon besides some civ shotguns, but I've found fully four 12.7 mm marksman rifles. It's bizarre haha but I guess just lucky, or unlucky depending on how you view it,
In regards the .50 ammo being abundant,it shouldnt be as abundant as other ammo,you got lucky. The loot pool is set in such a way that civ ammo types and weapons are more common.
Mines and satchels are part of a pool of "special ammo types. Its hardcoded in Ravage mod how that pool works,theres nothing i can do about that other than excluding the items.
Anyway, there isn't, at least not in the spawning sense. There is entirely too many 50 cal marksman rifles floating around, but other than that it's fine. Anyway, your mission is fine, you don't need to be such a defensive little baby when someone asks you a question.
