@Hemir95: I have never attempted to make a compatibility patch for reskins as I don't quite know how to approach making one. I have very little to no programming knowledge and if making one does require a base level of knowledge in coding and/or programming, then I will be incapable of making one.

For now, I can probably try my hand at making a grouped HD Texture pack for all the popular reskins so that the mod is both centralised and a functional, yet storage-heavy, workaround.

This leads to some absolutely wacky resolutions where some textures are 16K, and one --I can't remember where-- is 32K

The Warhammer 3 base_colour dds files and the Warhammer 1 base_colour dds files are two very different sizes. Imagine WH1 starting with a Vanilla resolution of 1080p, then when we arrive at Warhammer, the Vanilla texture for those units stand at around a base of 1440p or 2160p.

When both are upscaled similarly at x4, the Bretonnian textures may be 4K, but the Cathay textures would then be at 16K. By the time I finished Bretonnia, I had fully automated my process of upscaling, and everything from Bretonnia on is upscaled by x4 by default regardless of the original size.

May I ask the (probably noob) question why Bretonnia is less than 200 MB large but Cathay over 2 GB? I don't get how the difference can be that glaring.... Just curious. Thanks! <3
