This applies to only the upkeep however. Any other bonus or negatives you or the ai gets, say in battle bonus to morale etc, are unaffected.
Could you do the same mods but only upkeep reduction cost for the AI ? But with different values, like 30 % / 40 % / 50 % also.
I'm assuming that this AI bonus is combined with a % reduction with the upkeep cost linked to difficulty, but maybe I'm wrong ? For example, if I'm playing legendary and the AI has -30% and I add a mod that gives - 40% for the IA, then the AI will get -70%, right?
I can confirm that it works as intended when starting a new campaign.
however, when loading an existing campaign, even on Turn 1, all upkeep is removed completely, except for the general's bodyguard.
I do have a 100% reduced upkeep mod, https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3049811994 . Could be you have turned on the wrong version of my mod maybe?
If your getting this issue with the 50% mod, what other mods are you using (if any). Maybe there's a conflict I'm unaware of.
I hope the feedback helps: I tried loading a Turn 1 save in an existing campaign, and all my units had no upkeep, zero. only the generals had upkeep.
