Ok i just did what you requested. I turned off all my other mods and only used your mod. Chariots have 4 horses; 2 at the front and two in the back with the crew in the cabin. Some chariots have also 2 additional crew members following the cabin but not all chariots have crew following. All chariots have the horse issue however.

the reason is, a mod conflict is between at least 2 mods. if you disable one, then that conflict is gone, but doesnt prove it unless you try with just one, and not the other.

you are the only mod i have that edits land_units and main_units. the other mods are aesthetics. I am noticing this problem with all chariots. there are 4 horses per chariots and men following the chariots.

armoured, which units, all chariots? because if so then you have a mod which is conflicting with mine, because i just checked and i do not see the issue you are describing

i think the chariots are all messed up, in battle it shows more horses per chariot and there are soldiers following the chariots.

Unfortunately no. I just turned on your mod, and sadly now more buggy. I de-subscribed and re-subscribed to it, and then activated it via the launcher. I now have the following problem: For example, Cana. Recruits only 180 (previously 360); the Cana. Rock Throwers now have 360 (definitely less before). Ramses Rooster has been changed, e.g. Seti hasn't (before your update the Egypt/Cana./Hittite factions were all correct). Sea Peoples still almost no change at all.

Thanks for the update! But some units like Peleset Sword Marines aren't increased in size (extrem only 180 with ca. 25000HP).

there is that particular incompatibility because theyre editing the same tables as i do. i cant change the number of men and whatever in a unit without editing those tables.

It works fine now, I tested it with other mods too and the doubling issue only happens when combined with the no more sh*t chariots mod so I think there's an incompatibility with that one

Having the same issue as Kydiaz with the chariots. The chariots are very messed up. Each chariot now has 4 men (when there are supposed to only be two). There's an extra man who stands 'in' one of the horses, and another who stands on the back of the chariot.

The mod doesn't only double the overall number of chariots but also the number of soldiers/horses for each chariots as in the screens

kydiaz i just put all the chariots in the game in and i dont see what youre talking about, all of them have the right number of men and horses. coudl you be more specific?

jonnycxd, unfortunately there isnt much i can do about that. ive tried to edit unit depth before to no effect, but i will try again

Yes Chariots are an issue and the formation becomes incredibly deep rather than wider, making them difficult to use.

For me it causes a problem with chariots, when using the mod I have either four/six soldiers for each chariot with one/three soldiers running next to the chariot or four horses with the two extra horses clipping through the chariot. I've tried using the mod alone and with others and the only difference is whether it causes the extra charioteers or horses to appear

trying to make a mod by editing your save file is the wrong way to go. i know youve probably heard this before, but i recommend looking up modding tutorials. but to answer your question, mods are made by using a "pack file manager" such as "rusted pfm" and then selecting new pack file, then adding a table from data_db, making your desired changes, then changing the name of the table in your mod, then saving, then making an image for the mod, then uploading it, if you feel like it. it sounds like a lot, i know. the basics are simple, but theres a lot of knowledge you get from experience modding, knowing what does and doesnt work. if you have the drive to learn total war modding, then go for it.
