Nobody has had their maps taken down with packed in content though as far as im aware though, me personally i have all of Valves games so i have no issues and packed in content into the bsp itself causes unique issues with models and generally is a waste of space if you already have the content in question.
(i know it's a stupid question, but does it?)
This map is so good and runs perfectly. I spent an hour looking for it.
Im very close to just taking down this upload of the map since i cannot diagnose what the problem is since it 100% works perfectly fine on my end.
Also I can confirm that it gets worse , you don't have to launch the game for workshop content folders to be instantaneously deleted for no reason.
all of Jaycies stuff was under the legacy system as said before so if anyone had it downloaded, its still there unless you clean it out regularly, just cannot use it ingame unless you manually export it and put it into a folder in the addons folder.
One more question: When do "expired" mods usually get automatically deleted from our systems? as soon as we boot up Gmod and it checks if the subscribed addons are still available? or right when we quit the game? or it could happen by just having the Steam client open and idle? sometimes people forget to do backups and wake up when it's too late. I want to play it safe from now on and let others know too.
