Because some things no longer exist or are inactive, transferring them by hand was a little quicker. It seems to be error-free on my side. What equipment is missing and should reappear and weapon values or similar would be good if you can help me there.

RE2 if possible for sure, RE 2 beta if I find the time I'll have a look.
Unless I've missed something while waiting for RE 2, the current files should be compatible with Standard Empyrion.
As long as I can still see halfway through what I'm changing and get it bug free I'll be sure to continue with RE 2.
what worked in my case is to start a new game with the same seed than your old save.
Exit after start and copy all Files from your old save except the game.dat files to your new save and overwrite everything. you can find your seed in the console after loading your old save a last time.

seems to be really usefull with these cells. I have changed the ammunition to small energy cells for Multitool + Drill T2. I couldn't see a problem and you only need one type - let me know if I've missed something.
So actually overwriting should also work, I'm just not quite sure whether problematic residual files can remain. If you want to transfer your config entries, the easiest and quickest way would be to use a programme like WinMerge or Meld - provided you know your entries exactly. Or manually if there are only a few.
Thanks, I'm not playing Empyrion myself right now, so the message is very helpful. I'll get to work on the update. I haven't updated the GDrive files since (July) either I would delete the GDrive and then use the current version. I should probably also write an info for the GDrive version and then remove it if nobody uses it any more.
Also, I'm using the google drive download you linked back in July I think, to update that would I just subscribe to this and overwrite the files?

I did a compare of the Ad Astra BlocksConfig and this one for the solar panels, and they're identical. We know the AdA solar panels work. Could you try to unsub/resub to this scenario to see if it does anything?
As stated CV panels do not generate charge, They act like the geothermal gen and wind turbins in that they reduce the power consumption of base or cv. It is possible to generate (-) negative power allowing you to charge a solar cap thus running your base or cv indefinitely provided you power setup is set to say a specific number on a specific amount of devices you use. IE, decons or constructors.
So essentially you will use them to "idle" the ship and be able to charge a battery or two, four what have you. and not use much fuel at all. so while your offline on a server your ship will never run out of energy because you have the set up of tank, gen to produce power, with solar panel to reduce or become more energy efficient and a battery back up because you can charge a battery when you generate negative energy.
