The game cannot handle it beyond that speed.
Firing a tie fighter gun above 100M/s makes you catch up to the laser and hit yourself.
Making the projectiles faster breaks the "star wars feel" i guess but maybe adding the ships velocity to the projectile velocity?
Hopefully, this updated version will work without issue.

i have thier range set to 2.5km
I have a bunch of stuff going on right now. :)
I regret to report that the flak guns' firing is still broken. I never use them, but when MES grids grab them it can cause issues.
