because they also disabled the ability to *use* them when they rewrote the SteamVR dashboard in a web browser

My SteamVR home environment would not start with these and another camo controllers model installed. Home environment would not start until I uninstalled them both. :steamthumbsdown:

kinda simple actually
they removed controller workshop uploading (and customization) before the index came out

i'm just stupid enough to track down a build that has controller uploading

yeah, it doesn't work by default, follow the install guide in the description

this is because SteamVR gutted proper support for controller workshop models a WHILE back, however that guide replaces the stock models/textures with this custom one (can be reverted by verifying files)
