I don't want to be rude, but it kinda just looks exactly the same, based on the screenshots, aside from a new room or two and some added planks to windows?

At least visually, it looks almost the same, if you want some feedback: I think it would help to change up the lighting completely, maybe expand the town with more buildings with various heights and actual streets, improve the 3D skybox and clean up the some of the random decals I put everywhere all those years ago lol.

Don't take it as discouragement though, you can still go and improve it more anytime! Im just speaking personally from what I would expect from something called a "remaster"

When I first played "Roblox Zombie Survival" I thought the map was original to the game itself, but after some searching, I realized I was wrong.

Your map is honestly amazing (Sorry if the translator does not detect some things well or says other things)

Yeah I figured, I dont really care too much but I think the very least they could do is add credits to who made the map or a link to the original


I managed to contact them recently and they at least added my name in the credits, though it seemed very hastily done.. Oh well.

Roblox is terrible for ripping off Source engine. Lots of HL2 CS and LFD assets get stolen in games so often by Roblox games.

the aforementioned roblox game has 20 million visits rn. the game is also technically impressive for roblox as viewmodels, textures, props, and terrain has been faithfully ported over from source engine assets to roblox-readable assets. a good game to play if you dont have gmod or dont want to wait for loading times in gmod servers, roblox's loading is fast.

They dont spawn by default, its only if hosted on server that has npc spawns. Otherwise there are no zombies.

Is it possible to turn off the spawn of zombies from hl2?

Sorry, I made this map years ago, and don't really play gmod, or make gmod maps anymore. And even if I did, I don't think I even have the original files for this map. If you want to rip the bsp, and do it yourself, then feel free to.

Hello Ethosaur! Well one, Ive been using this map since you released it with 0 stars! This is one of my absolute favorites! I was hoping, maybe you can make a map extension. Or a continuance to the map? Its pretty small and it looks like it could be even bigger! Its up to you though, making maps is very hard.

Sorry, these maps were made for a special modded servers that spawns them. Without the mod they will not spawn, so you will have to place them yourself, or find the mod/server that uses it.

Hey Ethosaur, can you tell me how to activate the zombie spawns for multiplayer?
i'm currently in a multiplayer game with one of my friends and there's no zombies that spawn, and spawning them one by one is kind of annoying
