the model is black because there is no lighting with it. if you add lighting, you can see that the model becomes partially visible. right click in the viewport, and deselect "enable lighting" and that should fix the problem.

If anybody was wondering no this isn't a map. You can easily make this a map though by downloading a typical sky void map, then import the model and there you go. It's basically a map now.
