Yes thats correct, the UGC shows up for anything you have subscribed to on the workshop, (UGC standing for "User Generated Content"

Just asking what's the name for the map in console? Because when I loaded up lethargy_pools it showed up as (UGC) lethargy_pools. Thank you!

This reminds me of that "myhouse.wad" map for doom 2.

Not sure to be honest, I think its similar to things like "dreamcore" "surrealism" and "weirdcore" maybe.


My creative process varies from map to map, but generally its just a certain sudden need to "make" something that pops up in the moment, so I get to work by collecting music, art, memes and other stuff I like, then I just start making something, while including the music, art I made, and memes I enjoy, making it kind of a big "collage" of things I like, in that moment of time.

This specific map was also vaguely based on a dream I had, but generally I tend to just imagine and "wing it" when making these.

I wish lol, its not often I remember the dreams but I try to write them down sometimes when I do, like this one. So if I have another weird and cool one like this, I will probably try recreating it again

These maps really remind me of those weird obscure maps you see at the bottom of the community server list, where there is usually a small community of people just vibing and having fun!

Reminds me of community server maps from the late 2000s, like the Mario Kart one, where it's a huge assortment of custom assets that were spliced together into one beautiful eyesore that feels more like a GMod map rather than a TF2 one.

And no matter what, these maps are always just a really fun place to hang out in and do whatever. They always feel lively, even when you're the only one on the server. like you get the feeling someone is there with you and is aware of your presence....but you don't know where they are.

This is The Best TF2 Map I've Ever Played. It Drove Me Insane. I spent an hour Trying to Find All 6 green HeadCrabs. Holy Lord this is a fever dream

I'm surprised that I didn't made that connection with Xenon's old classic maps instead of Nipper! since a lot of Xenon's map are "gallery-like" with memes scattered around. You definitely have your own style going though, like Xenon's is retro and futuristic and these maps would be woozy and dreamy.

Surprisingly I actually have never played any of nippers maps, only seen some videos by whomobile I think.

Mine are more inspired by Xenons old maps, like harbl hotel and mario_kart, but I do like to imagine I have my own style going, or at least am trying!

In my opinion, both of their maps has a distinct kind of charm but Ethosaur is kind of the modern Nipper.

ethosaur you may never be nipper but the map is definitely good
