I noticed that being an issue too. That is something the weapon makers will have to solve. The reason they don't work is because they don't create bullet holes, they leave a blast texture instead, which doesn't affect models.

can you make it work with star wars TFA weapons?

This sometimes happens with another mod conflict or a model that disagrees with the textures. Make sure you have no other blood mods installed and restart your game. If it's still a problem I can't do much to help.
