i think people like the idea of a pre-detailed frame for their creations tho. lots of people want to build remote control things and such and need a vehicle to store it in.

i have no clue, we dont know how space is going to be and we dont know how the new thrusters are going to act. it would also not be thrust vectoring, it would be an exoatmospheric kill vehicle style reaction control thruster design.
