I'm not in disagreement with that. The point I was trying to make was that people are going to wear this for that exact reason . Is this something I would wear? No. Do I want it in the game? No, not really. I'm just pointing out that people are still going to use meme-tier hats because they are meme-tier . I'm not saying people are going to use every goofy hat that gets posted to the workshop. But hats like the banana hat, or the binoculous, or this are goofy in a way that the community finds hilarious for one reason or another.

I think people are more upset about the fact we get more worser hats instead of much better looking ones that can be used with other cosmetics. this one is just an upside down crone's dome

Y'know, at one point, I was just like both of you: aggressively gatekeeping workshop items so that only the really good stuff would get in. The reality is that that doesn't work. The community has its own mind and will wear stuff like this just because of the sheer ridiculousness of it. Am I saying that I would wear it? No, I barely play anymore to be honest. But I know TF2 players love their meme loadouts as much as they like the ones that actually look good. Just look at how popular the Binoculus is.

People will wear this just because it's a meme hat. People don't care if it clips like hell if they can make ridiculous loadouts with it. With how TF2's community is, I'd argue that actually works in its favor rather than against it.

Kinda looks weird in the image. I like the idea of a reverse witch hat, though a lot of people point out it looks weird and that it clips into the model.

Honestly, when I think of this hat as the Halloween version of the Potassium Bonnet (The Banana Hat,) I find this one to be a refreshingly silly hat for Halloween without it being either gore or a horror movie reference. I like it.
