I checked that out myself for the vanilla animations. Seems to be Valve forgot to include the sound event for when the magazine is locked in, hence why it sounds so odd.

I lower them by 1 decibel later. Might be better for our ears. Who knows.

I like the updated sounds! But i think the new deagle and auto shotty sounds are a tad bit too high, especially the deagle. But that's just my opinion might be different for others.

Oh I understand. I know some people have tried to add the sounds of shell ejections as well as them hitting the ground to the sounds and it sounds awkward as hell in this game. Especially with rifles. I would just love to see it pulled off well some day, ya know?
