I still think a better option would be to atleast disable comments and maybe unlist the mod. Just so that people can atleast still use it.
But creators deleting there mods reminds me when my parents told me years ago that i must be good to earn privileges otherwise there taken away. In the case of this situation the creators are the "parents", the addons are the "privileges" and the community is well the "kids" that must be good, but of course not.

Thats just the nature of toxic communitys/kids. Some creators has a limit before there just "done".
Not to mention they could also be burned out, personal issues or just dont enjoy doing this anymore.

Fun fact, this model has a "spicy version" but knowing the community, I highly doubt that got backed up (I was one of the luckier ones to still have it).

Lately, I've been noticing a freakish amount of people leaving both GMOD and L4D2 workshop, especially the anime ones. It makes me question on what is wrong with the community lately that cause many addon creators to just purge all their addons and leave outright. It's safe to say that 2023 and possible 2024 will be the worst year for workshop because so many good addons have been getting removed as of late.

I bet you a 50$ steam gift card that RandomTBush will be the next creator to purge all his addons, especially his Neptunia ones. I really have a strong feeling that will happen.

Anyway, sorry for my rant. I need to get this out of my chest.
