These vehicles are pretty badass, but I took the heavy tank out on a raid and they had one little artillery loaded with antigrain and it beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of my heavy tank...

@Sgtknispel23 Ya but removing the mechanic altogether just feels wrong. It's there to stop you from making large battery banks as you end up creating a bomb regardless of whether it snags your chemfuel/shell storage and removing that problem completely allows you to completely ignore solar flares. So basically two mechanics get removed.

Regarding the "Vehicles not charging problem"
I haven't done any custom coding on this mod's side, so I honestly have no idea what's causing it. Its highly likely to be mod conflicts that's causing it.

Also can confirm vehicles dont recharge while on ships from SOS2 even if regular piping is placed under the vehicles. Yes recharge was turned on.

I have had multiple colonies go supernova because of batteries and as a result I, and anyone who plays on the hardest settings which is the type of settings you'd expect to use a mod like this, tend to not use batteries. The zzzt event can literally be a dice roll to destroy your entire colony instantly based almost entirely off of rng. It might be hard to believe but having to use batteries to charge these vehicles is actually a killer for me. Just make it charge on a charge pad similar to the refueling station but with a small internal battery only used for charging vehicles and problem is solved.

Can you also patch dubs paint shop? I tried to paint the Raptor typeE and the paint textures are under the vehicle in the preview.

Okay, looking at the folder structure unless I'm crazy there is quite literally no CE patch for 1.5, so when the game loads CE the mod does not load its assets based on the loadfolders.xml file. And after testing without combat extended loaded the mod shows up fine. is this deliberate? is the 1.5 Patch for CE for this mod not ready?

It's like this mod isn't being loaded into the game at all. No aspect of it is showing up neither the vehicles nor the ammunition, it's also not showing up in Vehicle Framework settings, and i'm not getting errors either, it's just as far as my rim world is concerned the mod just doesn't exist in game in any capacity other than on my mod list.

Ok I'm having a bug: I finish getting the materials for the Z277, load in the persona core, and... the vehicle straight up vanishes, both visually and mechanically, like I used up al those resources just for the fun of it.

I filled it with 300 chemfuel manually then 1000, it would not allow connect to grid (even with a driver and vehicle on) unless I was on the Vehicle Refueler from Vanilla Vehicles expanded/Vanilla Chemfuel Expanded. And when I was on that and it did allow the connect it would do nothing unless it was connected to chemfuel tanks and just drained them instead of power. this was with the entire area below the vehicle being covered in power cables.

thats odd, it should charge if there's atleaast 20+W in your batteries

I know its kind of stupid, but the engine also needs to be running in order to charge the "fuel tank/battery". SmashPhil told me its due to a performance saving implements he made, making the tank unable to charge without starting the engine.
Which is why you need to put a driver and have the tank(s) running. I usually put 100 chemfuel in it to start up.

Please make sure that you are following the instructions properly
Common problems that prevent it from charging is:
1. You don't have batteries on your power grid.
2. Your batteries dont have enough stored energy.
3. It requires a bit of chemfuel in order to start the engine before it can charge.

So I cant charge it with electricity and seems the added Chemfuel refueler from Vanilla Vehicles Expanded is breaking it. I am unable to enable the charge from grid unless I am on the Refueler and then it will just take all the chemfuel from that and use it instead thus to fill the transport its 20k chemfuel

Anyway to make the missiles on the Madness Accelerator aimable? Dummy missiles are extremely unreliable and not worth their cost as it is right now.

If you are playing with the "Combat Extended" mod and you do not have ammunition crafting for the tank, although you have studied them, turn on and off the "Ammunition System" in the "Combat Extended" mod settings. After that, ammunition crafting will appear in the "Workbench and Equipment Workbench".

Well, I constructed several batteries. Now I can at least click the charge option on, but it is still not charging the tank. Should I have the exact amount of energy stored maybe?
