I get you, I've actually tried to make a custom gui window to declutter the decision tab, but neither did I have the know-hows of making a custom gui, nor the motivation to keep trying.

I guess that hardly anyone would complain if I made all medal prices a fixed 0 pp cost, but doing that will take away the flexibility to modify the prices (which I value). As far as I am aware prices can only be changed proportionally, so if the default is 0, it will stay at 0 cost no matter the effect.

If there's ever the opportunity to update the mod with custom gui windows then I would gladly do it, but now is not the time.

Luckily for you if you do plan to make your own mod with these specific changes (0 medal cost and a medal for every vp) then it is as simple as changing 5 numbers.

Right, I know, I'm mostly just asking due to the "clutter" that's added to the decisions window once you fiddle with the settings. When you hover over the icon for example there's a huge list of "Increase/Decrease Medals Cost by %" and so on. :>

I guess what I'm asking is if it's possible to just remove the decisions and just keep the medals at a cost of 0-5pp or something and keeping the "all VPs give medals" thing.

This mod already grants Medals for every VP captured. There is the limitation that it doesn't work with volunteers though, but otherwise still works.

I was wondering, is there any chance that you could make a version that just grants medals for every VP? I've tried to find a mod that does this but been unable to, not counting this one.

Suppose I might be able to change stuff in your mod but I have like no modding experience at all so I don't know how to do it without breaking either the mod or the game. xD

I don't know. Just load up a game and if it doesn't crash it ought to be fine.
I want to try updating it, however I've installed a new OS and wiped my entire drive, so I don't know if I still can.

Does the mod still work with the new DLC?

Yes, only a single division will earn a medal for each city captured.
You can cheese it by recapturing the city multiple times whenever the enemy takes it back.

I would like to know how the medals are awarded? On the second image I see that the division has more than twenty medals. I play Germany I attacked Poland with several divisions apparently the medals are attributed to the capture of cities (one per city) and to a single division. To have that many medals seen in image 2 you would have to invade Poland and France and always play with the same division?

Maybe I should attach a screenshot, because in the decisions tab you can pick which countries medals you want to enable

Apparently volunteer divisions do not count. I've tried finding in the files if there's an option for that, but couldn't find it.

It seems that the mod is not working with KR right now. Playing as Denmark, if I turn on the mod, when trying to issue the medal, the ui would shows but there won't be any medal option to choose from.

I am using this great mod and it works perfectly for me. I don't know why anyone would be having trouble with tit. It works flawlessly.

Old world Blues uses their own medals iirc. But thats an effort I have to make I currently don't feel like doing

But like, I've been running it every time I play the game and it works perfectly as far as I'm aware.

Dunno what the other guy who asked for it is talking about, but this mod is entirely compatible with Old World Blues.

I mean sure most of the medals wouldn't really apply to a lot of the countries in that mod, but some countries like the Enclave factions or the US army remnant factions can use the USA and Generic Democratic medals. Can also just use whichever ones you want if you're a raider nation or something and pretend your guys looted a museum or something.
