Hello! I really enjoy your Overextension mod — it adds a great layer of strategic depth to Crusader Kings III.

However, I’ve recently encountered a consistent crash during gameplay. After reviewing the error log, it appears the issue might be related to an unset variable in the script that handles overextension effects (likely within the oxt_debuff_pulse section).

I wanted to ask if you’re planning or willing to update the mod to address this issue. It would be wonderful to see this great mod maintained and improved further.

maybe there could be a game rule to make the overextension malus go away once they become your subject otherwise you end up with a whole realm of powerful vassals that hate you. And maybe thats the point, though i dont remember the consequences of expanding being that egregious within your realm in eu4

Is there any way to fix the "hanging" military strength section of the character UI? I'd love to use this mod but seeing this bug annoys me

Where do you actually see the overextension value/UI? I've looked EVERYWHERE and I cannot see it? I know it's active because I can see the opinion debuffs from overextension but other than that this mod is like a ghost for me.

oops it just occurred to me that surrendering to a dissolution faction should probably set overextension to zero - iirc overextension follows a character and not a title.

It would be awesome if granting independence or surrendering to an independence faction could relieve overextension by quite a bit - not sure if this was already implemented in this version but it would really enhance this mod

I PREFER making my stability Player only since I wanna make my realm more unstable for realism but don't want the AI to be collapsing every time they take a Duchy

I really enjoy this mod too. It does a lot to balance the game world.
However, by looking at its code, I do not recommend to play with it now as significant parts need to be updated to the latest game version.

@Cardolam - I really like this mod and enjoyed the progressively increasing opinion penalties if I expanded too aggressively. I have assumed it is in need of an update and not used it. Have you tested it?

Hello, I am a mod author for Crusader Kings 3. Recently, I have been working on a war negotiation and diplomacy expansion. I noticed that the "threat level" system I designed in my mod is quite similar to a feature in your mod. I wanted to ask if I could borrow some of your code and ideas as a reference.
