I think the base texture has a lot of potential. Maybe adding some moderately sized runes/text like in the books to add some detail?

All i think it needs is some sticker trickery that adds the leather straps of the book and maybe the lock. Keep up the great artwork!

Custom ink would be an awesome idea. Unfortunately the warpaint I used as a base doesn't allow custom blood. I'll play around with a paint that does and, if it works, post it separately. Thank you for the feedback and ideas, keep em coming!

leather looks very detailed, needs to be watered down a lil.

The leather does look kind of bad, way too detailed. The rest looks nice though, and also an ink for blood custom wear would work really well with this

Great idea and really good work so far! My only ideas would be if there was a warpaint base that worked for it to try a silverish gray texture for the lock and maybe replace the blood with ink!!!

the dark leather texture looks way too detailed for tf2, it looks like a photograph rather than the impressionist cartoony style of tf2's textures, its a nice concept for a warpaint though and I hope you keep working on it.
