I think it is not caused my this mod, for I changed nothing in vanilla except for the power svitch (only add a new ThingCompnent). Maybe some of your mods have been updated?

I loved the idea of this mod, but it seems to have removed jobs from all my mechs, which now just wander permanently without ever working.

Ticks per second. Rimworld by default runs at 60 ticks per second. A "tick" is a step in the simulation, where processing of things going on occurs. Not everything is processed every tick, but the TPS of the game directly defines the actual rate that time is running in the game (in fact, in fact, increasing the speed scale just increases the target TPS).

If processing is taking longer per tick than 1/60th of a second, your effective TPS drops as a result, and the effective speed of the simulation drops at the same rate (this applies even more so on higher speed settings). Turrets consume a lot of TPS because they scan for targets regularly, which is an expensive operation, since it needs to check the status and distance RE: the turret of any pawns on the map, and it needs to do that for every turret on the map.

This mod can help you disconnect buildings that affect tps such as turrets when not used, so that they will not affect your tps anymore.

Mod, Og auto p s, stopped working , did an only mod in list, the switch did not show in power. it was working yesterday, today not so much, there were no errors, and no mod updates from other mods that, I have in my list.

Only thing missing now, that a remote sensor , triggered by f.e. enemy close by would switch on that conenction to the turrets and another sensor for low power to switch them automaticly off if i had forgotten to do so myself.

Ticks per second. Basically how fast your game runs.
1x speed is 60 TPS
2x speed is 180 TPS
3x speed is 360 TPS (720 if everyone's asleep)
and 4x (dev mode) speed is 900 TPS.

It means that when you active them together, they can work, but there will be some hidden conflicts that may cause error for other mods.
And your idea is great, but it's beyond my ability. Sorry about that :(

what do you mean "soft incompatible with Auto Flicker"?

also, here's an idea: a "power grid", that allows you to do 2 things:

1. "Bind" switches together, so you could, for instance, have it so 2 switches are connected, and both toggled independently. After all, during a raid, do you really need power to your TV's?
2. control all switches from one location, allowing you to quickly select them (And name them). Also, group them, so you can toggle multiple at once!

then, a new switch. The "relay". It comes in 2 versions: the powered and the non-powered version. The powered version turns off when it no longer receives power from a separate cable, and the non-powered turns off when it recievs power from a second cable. Now controlling one switch effects others!

Just some thoughts! Either way, great mod!
