Sadly this mod seems buggy (I'm also getting the GS_ToxTorch error along with others) and the mod author says they are "looking into it" and yet is it has been this way for years. I'd advise avoiding this mod for now.

Fixed some bugs.

@MZM_GOW Have you tested that? I ask as he didn't "replace" that gene exactly. The gene you're referencing adds 1 to 3 random genes which work like the pollution stimulus one did in that they provide bonuses in the presence of pollution.

@Sovereign the purple fire seems like it need new xenotype, like a more space/void/gravity one. The cooling fires and race sounds fun, like a race that cant handle any real heat, but treat sea ice as luxury housing. Maybe something with "frozen cooking" but seems like to much work. I also remember a d&d 3.5 monster that saped heat out people like a vampire, always hungering for heat.

actually tox-brazier and torch are imcompatible with VRE - Waster, because Oskar changed the Waster's "pollution stimulus" gene to a new "randomizer" mutation gene

@Moots purple fire sounds cool but what gene would they affect?

@Shade thats also a cool idea. A fire that serves also as cooler is quite a cool idea.Maybe i make an entire xenotype around it.

@Doomchib i need to try out if sensitive pawns get blinded by them but i dont think so.

Toxfire doesn't currently take fuel because of performance reasons. ( torches and braziers are laggy asf) i COULD make an optional patch for VE so it spreads pollution. Currently it's only coesmtic.

I could do that if it would take fuel.There's not much point right now obviously.

That mod is obselete my torches also dont take fuel so they are unaffected by it.

I'll think of an alterantive solution that can be configured freely here.

Also if the idea is that these objects are merely cosmetical then its strange that the torch requires 8 toxpacks, 1 would have been fine too. 8 just makes it seem like you could conveniently use these to get rid of some of your toxpacks and I don't think that was the actual idea.

This mod is really cool. Not something that you'd think off you'd need, but it spices up the details of a roleplay run. Just a suggestion, but would it be possible to make braziers connectable to VRE-Sanguinophage hemogen pipes?

Does the blood fire count towards darklight, or would it be possible for it to? I mainly just wanted to know if a pawn would get a "blinding light" debuff from it. Thank you!

Maybe a "frostfire" thats blue and gives a moodlet to any pawn with the frost immunity gene or something like the cold loving trait? And lowers the temp in the room instead of raising it?

Currently they don't need any fuel. A lot of torches bring down the game fps severely. Tho I can make an option to turn it on
