You have to line up with the airstrip where you want to land at 10 or 5 km as you prefer, then you have to enter the navigation frequency of the airport into the radio screen, (the navigation radio is the one further down the screen) then activate the approach button and when you are very close and stable (like 1/2km) activate the autothrottle.
