Its possible, but gerneally steam that would in theory run would have to follow a set of criteria

- PTC equipped

- Complies with all according steam regulations

- modernized to some extent (simplified / automated controls, etc)

- has to be approved via internal safety committee before running

if it doesnt meet criteria it cannot be on the front and must be dead in tow

This may be a random question but idc lol, anyways does CWEC allow foreign steam on their lines? For example, if Ohio Central or IER (my fic) wanted/needed to route their steam over your trackage, would it be allowed?

i love the switcher as the supporting locomotive in the consist, the main can pull away and the sw1500 can shunt, using less diesel and wearing less parts for the stop and go of the primary sd35, perfectly planned!

the one i do have cannot be uploaded to the ws. that and cwec doesn't really have a steam program
