Hey just a heads up, Myriad of Slugcats does completely brick the process of creating and applying Mod Presets. I went ahead and let the other creator know as well in-case they wanted to check on the incompatibilities on their end as well.

The ability to choose max player count up to 16 has been restored with this update.

Oh I see, something was broken if watcher was disabled. I just pushed another update v1.0.9 that should fix that

May I ask if this mod is originally only compatible with "Arena" mode? When I open Story mode or Expedition mode and try to set the number of players, the game becomes unresponsive. Only Arena mode shows the UI for 8 players. Or do I need to have The Watcher DLC in order to play? I currently only own the Downpour DLC.

That's correct, it has been disabled for a while now due to issues with controls updates

It seems like the competitive game mode still doesn't work

The watcher update broke json file reading and it might take me a while to fix the ability to change the max player count. As a temporary fix, I'm hardcoding the player cap to 8. The mod should be playable now until I make a full fix.
Also unlocked the watcher campaign for co-op.
make sure to resubscribe to the mod if it's not version v1.0.8

I play this mod on the beta version of the old remix1.9.15b (which seems to work well the other mods) but the competitive game mode does not seem to work. I can’t even enter the competitive menu, I’m stuck in the arena tab. I thought it was because it wasn’t implemented as you said in previous answers but there are screens of these mods that work with a the competitive game mode. So, I just ask if it’s normal and the screen is for a future version of the mod or it’s just my configuration that is wrong. In any case thank you, because I was looking for a mod capable of exceeding this stupid limit of 4 players for quite some time.

The mod is currently broken for the watcher update but I'll be looking into a fix for it soon

Is this mod currently broken? I saw that this mod allows more than 4 players, so I recently bought the game because of it. However, I can't find the multiplayer interface shown in the screenshots, and it still only supports the official limit of 4 players.

Sorry arena mode is on the backburner unless someone is able to donate code to fix it. I tried it myself but I wasn't able to find a solution.

I am new to this game. I bought it for this mod. (big multiplayer party game). I would really like to play that arena mode with friends. It seems that only sandbox mode works, that's okay I think. I'm just wondering, do I really have to set up all the items, creatures and players in each different arena before playing? IBut there are those saveable configurations, but how to use them? And is it possible to just get someone else's savegame file so that you can play directly without unnecessary adjustments?

can you please make it to where if you dont have anyone to play with you can turn on bot and they will play with you?
