Bazalisk, only advanced vehicles of T3 have wrecks in VF, which you can guess not applied to pretty simple technology-wise airships. Plus I doubt I have skills to make good looking wrecks anyway. You just build it anywhere you want like with any T1 and T2 vehicels.

these look cool, are there wrecked versions we can salvage and get running again like the other vehicles framework wrecks?

I blame Earthshaker, Vehicle Framework doesn't have support of such, so not yet.

I could find out how to modify and apply this to rim medieval.
I modified with RimmQOL and World tech level to unlock whale at medieval and Hellium to be produced at Alchemi desk.

milleniumnomad, if chemfuel is unavailable in medieval overhaul, then they can just patch a recipe for helium and fuel of airship to make it as available option.

I wonder this could be applied to medieval overhaul and world tech level.
Helium seems to be essential. but feels like biofuel refinery might be impossible to use because of technology limit.

I previously left a comment about a bug regarding trading, but apparently it's a bug with Vehicle Framework.

As an FYI for anyone else who's having the bug, all you need to do is drag the pilot (not sure about passengers) into the "dismounted" area in the Pawns menu on the side and trading will work like normal.

Updated to v1.6.

Also noticed that for some reason VF allowing any aerial vehicle to reach orbit, so ig have fun flying on airship straight into space till they fix it.

1.6 ver of VF wasn't available before I went on vacation, so qs you see on To Do in mod description will be tested for 1.6 once back. Currently in my way back.

Nash, haven't realy encountered such myself, so can't really say. But, if you won't figure it out on your own, then you could always ask in Vehicle Framework itself, cause it them who made all logic of it, so they might give better answer.

Thanks for your reply, is there a way to peacefully land on a friendly settlement? I bought some dogs but now they’re stuck there, I had to make a new settlement near theirs just to send a caravan to collect the dogs.

kazimir the folf, that was the plan, but VF mod still working on adding combat to aerial vehicles. So it still in plans for more than a year, cause they still working on it. After they done it should be pretty easy to add such.

would it be possible to make an airship with guns/bombs? i understand you're probably going for a cargo/transport type mod but would be cool to get some ww1 style zepplins for bombing pirates and hostile tribes...

Nash, same way as Vehicle Framework designed it, basically there is a button to designate pawn for loading in. On specifics questions refer to VF devs.

Martewes, Vehicles Framework не поддерживает фичу перенести или перевезти воздушный транспорт такого типа. Так что да, просто приходится взлетать и садиться в более удобном месте (хотя бы топлива много не жрёт на это). Мог сталкиваться с таким у вертолётов в Vanilla Vehicles Expanded.

А можно как-то "припарковать" дирижабль в другое место? Я запустил вот этот новый сценарий про око бури, Ласточка заспавнилась посреди локации. Никаких кнопок не нахожу, могу ли я переставить её в другое место, или нужно вылетать на глобальную карту и потом обратно? :steambored:

Dr. Quackers M.D., this is simple .xml mod, where airships works like helicopter type. So it use all code and mechanics from Vehicle Framework, thus all issues related to logic and coding should be refered to them. Plus I'm constantly using it, so I can assure you that it have no problems with landing back to settlement. So it possible there is something else that we missing with your problem.

Unable to bring back to settlement because it never lets me select a landing zone the ability to place it never shows up. If it wasnt for the set up camp mod my pawn would be trap in an airship until death

The Rails and Roads mod breaks everything. They are not compatible.

Nebula, how it could be incompatible with mod it relly on? It doesn't have any additional logic outside what Vehicle Framework had, so if you have any issue like that, then helicopters suppose to have same problem, which mean it should be reported to VF.

When flying to a point on the planet map (not a populated area) - the airship stops at the specified end point of the route, and there is no possibility to continue moving or land. This is incompatible with - Vehicle Framework?

How to rotate the landing position? It seems it can only land horizontally.

ChucklinNarwhal, haven't really touched recent VF updates, so no idea myself. I think dev still figuring out how to make flying vehicles carevans to work properly, so you maybe just need to wait or you can send him bug report in Discord where he active.

I've already posted in both Vehicle Framework and VVE, but I might as well ask here, I'm having trouble getting flying vehicle caravans to work. I can still manually load them up and fly them out fine, but if I use the "form vehicle caravan" button, the green checkmark to assign them will be greyed out. Testing them out, some will say "unable to move," and others "caravaning disabled" with no elaboration. I was wondering if you have any idea what's going on. For whatever reason, one vehicle (the Cherokee from VVE tier 3) works completely fine, but nothing else.

Maybe some files got corrupted on PC. I had some different mods with this issue week ago, maybe steam had issues.

sheyten, it not caused by this mod, since nothing was changed by me in a while and mod itself have no code to cause such issues. So prob better asking Vehicle Framework, cause it possible it after one of it recent updates.

OmniRusted, with full fuel it almost able to travel one way from north to south pole. It doesn't use fuel to stay in the air itself by design. Values was adjusted with Vanilla Vehicles Expanded aerial vehicles properties in mind. Airships provide bigger distance, but have low air speed.
