Tf2 isn't the game for over detailed stuff, the halo of fire looks great on it's own but with the skull it looks forced. Simplicity is the mother of beauty.

Nice effect. I don't agree with the other people i think the skull kinda fits the theme, however i do also believe the effect iself is pretty small. A little bit bigger wouldn't be too bad imo. Beside that it got that old school unusual effect kind of vibe to it which i like. Nothing too flashy.

This looks great like this, please don't squeeze a bunch of other colors out of it like advised below. I also do agree that the skull is pretty odd and doesn't look good, at least in contrast to how great the halo part looks, so removing the skull would definitely be an improvement. Would be badass though if you put flames around the skull and had some fire coming out of his eyes.

I'd honestly just remove the skull then I think it's perfect. The main effect spawning animation is beautiful

This manages to feel like an old 2013 Halloween effect yet still feel like an obviously new effect.

I'd like to see what you could do with the other traditional Halloween effect colors of green and purple by having theirs have unique ghostly apparitions in the middle, such as this one with the skull.

Even if that's not possible or would be too much work, basic palette swaps wouldn't look half bad either. Very nicely done!
