@pxpp I blame CrapMat from Lame Theory for inducing fear and hate from his biased, poorly researched deadlock comparison where he misrepresented our game & claimed that "OW should replace TF2".


With garbage like that being many source players first impression of OW its not hard to see where the endless spite came from.

+Richard TF2 isnt poorly aged nor dogsh*t. Its optimized, v-script moddable and balanced around skill rather than accessibility. As of now the bots are also gone.

We want to keep playing our game because we love the core gameplay and characters regardless of content updates, just like you would love to keep playing your favorite game.
(If TF2 got replaced and killed of by a Source 2 remake like CSGO did i would be celebrating the fall of its Source 2 version for destroying countless irreplaceable community maps and servers.)

However with the toxic "one must replace the other mindset" from both sides and the childish gloat as seen here i can perfectly see why it dont paint a good picture of us.
I've been a fan of goldsrc & source games for almost 20 years now but things like this makes me ashamed of that.

or rather, a TF- 2MB Stone? eh? man i've played both games though, Overwatch was fun when it was overwatch 1, and sure there were transactions, but you just had to do a little gamer work to bypass that to get lootboxes which wasn't SO bad. sure it could get tedious with having to get 9 arcade wins for 3 lootboxes, if it was something good, it was Worth it, and if not? maybe you got better at the game from it, or better at the mode you were playing, i myself enjoyed the little flame of a fan va cumminity there was, went on some custom games every now and then, now though? it's sad how deep it's sunken, as a former Overwatch player, i dare say it's Sunken further and deeper Digitally than the Titanic has irl.
