@TruthWizard how exactly does it work? If it's distinct enough I'll keep this mod around but if it's basically the same as this It'll probably stay in the past then as its presence won't be needed.

Noir has a multiple sling option on the B42 update.

@KeanZ At some point I do plan to, but I've yet to play B42 myself and I likely won't be playing it modded, since this was made to be a personal and friend used mod it mostly depends on when we end up playing B42

It works flawlessly, use your brain and disable Noir's rifle slings if it doesn't work. I have over 500+ mods.

@SDgamer all this mod does is take the multiple sling positions from noirs and make them each their own equipment slot, the back remains it's own slot independent from the slings.

can you put a sling on your back like in the Simple Slings mod? While like that mod i feel like Simple Slings makes getting rifle slings harder than it should be unlike Noir's Rifle Slings which this mod is a modification of

Yeah if Noir's is incompatible with GEAR then this will be too as it's just a tweaked version of the original.

You're gonna have to be more specific. When and how did it break? Were you using it fine before this or did you only just subscribe and it just hasn't worked period? I need more information than just that it's broken.

@Josh It's entirely possible, most likely a load order issue, I'd recommend putting it as close to the original position of Noir's slings as you can, though it's not a huge issue honestly since they're craftable.

Hi, after switching from Noir's slings, I have noticed that these don't seem to spawn nearly as much, at least not in the Rosewood SD where I've been testing it... Is there a chance another mod is interfering with the drop rate?

Perfect. It is much better than TwoWeaponsOnBack which in my case doesn't work.

@Cruel Moose no it does not, it's literally the entire original mod just reworked to do what I wanted it to for minimal effort, so you probably shouldn't have this installed at the same time as other versions of it.

@T-DOG For that I would simply recommend using this mod, it shows each individual slot and you can unequip them from there.

@Okanen, yes, Noir's does it originally, the sling slot is not vanilla, I simply added SlingA, SlingB, and SlingC following their method then assigned them to the other three wear methods than the first one.

Is it even possible to make your own item slot?

@Okanen My main thing is that I'm trying not to take up any vanilla item slots, I got around that by adding new ones but didn't realize that it wasn't viable to have multiple body locations applied to a single item, I am curious about how your code looks however, I may be able to take some inspiration from it.

I have tested it myself and it works. I had a little bit of modding experience before so I figured it out xD Uploading it can be a pain.

Technically this should work if it overrides noir's sling mod, if I guessed this is how this works correctly. So give it a test and tell me if it works

I'll give it a go but I have no idea how mods override each other in zomboid
