What kind of kibble do plateo eggs make?

It's all clear. The author, like many others, decided to make updates for the trash heap and for a proper game.

@Faye I've managed to get things working again with the preaquatica version with a backup save. I am unsure how long Snail plans on keeping this beta build but I've got a full backup of the game on a separate harddrive at this point. Unsure at this point if I will go to ASA but if I do your mod will be a must have. Again thank you for your work.

@Tegu all is not lost, you can go back to the preaquatica version. Also it's literally impossible for me to go back and update the mod because I don't have the files anymore sadly. And even if I did, I do not have the disk space to install both the ASA kit and the ASE kit.

ASA has its issues but lately the performance has gotten wayyy better than on launch, I finally just released Plateosaurus for ASA so I'm 100% committed to that game now. There's a lot more opportunity there, more tools and besides some of the issues it's overall the better game in my opinion.

Update aquatica launch has broken this mod. Thank you Faye I don't expect an update on this one but it was fun while it lasted.

Still works as of July 2025, great mod! I expected to get a plateosaurus and upgrade to something else fast but no its still my go to mount heading into late game on my no flying play through!

I love this mod, I use it on all my ARKs. I seriously hope that a port for Ascended arrives, it would be very sad not to have such a useful and beautifully designed creature in the new versions of the game.

While I am a little sad we won't be getting that lovely Qianz pictured (Was really hoping to see it), Plateosaurus itself is really nifty on its own!

This is what I have wanted! The sounds, movements, animations are so great! I am playing ASE as my pc cannot handle ASA right now, maybe some day though after early access is over. I'm also upset at some of the decisions WC/SG has made. The plateosaurus works with the mods I am using. I was surprised to see it work with the Immersive taming mod WHICH IS SO DANG CUTE WITH THEM! They work with the easter event colors too! Wait until you see the easter colors on these guys! The color pattern is amazing as is but WOW! It's a misconception that dinos were neutral colors! There is a ton of research and info backing up that many dinos would have been very bright colored! Keep that in mind for your next mods!
I have wanted more herbivores in ark for a long time. The gripe I have with this is its speed. I think it should be just a touch faster. Other than that it is a fantastic mod! Keep up the AMAZING WORK! Your dino is better than any WC dinos! Can't wait to see your other mods!

My wife and I still play ASE due to not having the set up for ASA. We just ran across this mod and are so excited to try it! It looks amazing!

I won't lie, I am saddened this mod will moving to ASA. I'm not shocked, I knew this would happen for a lot of mods. I wish you well and porting to ASA goes well. :)
I do have my issues with ASA, but that has nothing to do with modders and as I said, I do understand why this is happening.
I'm just sad as I don't have top a line rig for ASA, so my settings are Low-Medium, and with DLSS on ultra performance. Due to ARK:SE I will not be upgrading my system either; even after upgrading my rig to recommended spec during ARK:SE didn't improve FPS or anything back in the day.

It isnt simply a game i dont like. Its a stain on what ark was. A cash-grab, a disgrace, an insult to fans, a skeleton copy. ASE is game that is probably supposed to be the future when it doesnt have any future due to the companies behind it.

Every single game dies at some point, even if the game shuts down suddenly and all my work would seemingly go to waste, they're still great additions to my portfolio and are helping me develop skills and experience for my career. It's not like I'll be doing modding forever.

You really don't need to go berate modders for working on a game that you don't like, you especially don't need to be calling them delusional.

Sad about it all being ASA now... My computer can't run that game and I sure as heck can't afford a new computer.. Just sad is all

Well, you do you. But dont feel depressed when all your work becomes an accessory to a dead game, beaten to death by its own creators.

Faye, I hope you get well from your delusions. ASA is the next Pixark and Atlas, but with even less work. Dont be so naive to believe there is a future to ASA that doesnt rip-off the users and is not even halfassed.

ASA, in my eyes, is an ugly truth that Ark will never be the game it once was. That greed and fools will keep the wonderful "ship" that Ark was going into the flames. Truly, dont waste money on something that will rip apart what Ark was and use it on something that isnt on its way to hell in a handbasket.

@[ NV ] Tobz it's the same game with better graphics, of course I want my creatures to shine in UE5 rather than UE4. Not to mention all of the technical stuff UE5 allows in the devkit.

Only one dino in ASE i believe the rest has been released in ASA. I love this dino so a i am a bit bummed about this, however if you've been thinking about Ascended, this mod is should be ready or almost ready on that game. Not sure since i can't run the game. But yeah, you have ascended, should have more dinos released on there. Thank you to the mod author, hopefully i can enjoy the rest of the mod in the next game.
