Thank you, meako!

Wow this is a very nice adaptation of Rocket League, nicely done!

ah, thanks, I was thinking it was a game mode

So, the "tug of war" label is for the piston that is used to determine which team had more goals by measuring the difference between their scores. When blue scores it retracts a little bit, and when orange scores it extends a little bit, and when the game is ended the piston is either tied at midpoint, more in the blue direction, or more in the orange direction, and depending on that position the screens will show "W" or "T". So if blue scores 2 and orange scores 1, the piston is one segment in the blue, then if orange scores again to make it 2-2, the game is tied so the piston moves back to the middle, etc.

It's a kind of convoluted way to see whether a value is >,<, or = another value, but I did my best with what the game has. There is a button panel near the piston to manually move it up and down by segments and reset it for troubleshooting purposes.

I went into the underside of the field and noticed some stuff labeled as being for tug of war, how do I start that?

I designed this version to be 0G with flying ships, as it was simpler to design gameplay-wise. In the future I can make a more direct Rocket League adaptation using rovers with thrust if people would like that. For the time being, this version could be used within planet gravity and you could design and use your own rovers, but the new ball feature wouldn't work properly and the armor panels decorating the field may cause collision.

what ups with it not having cars?

Do welder blocks work in general in the world you're in? Maybe they need components
the grinding works, I've pushed blocks into it and they grind them, no idea why the welders aren't working though
That is indeed very weird. Perhaps welding blocks are somehow disabled in your world, or maybe they require components to weld if it's a survival world with creative tools enabled in admin; see if putting steel plates in the welders makes it work. It seems like a local issue if nobody else is having this problem.
It works completely fine manually welding it, I have no idea why the welders aren't doing anything
idk why I didn't think about that, the welders were enabled though, activated them manually and they had that red ring around them
I wonder if you are able to manually weld the corner block, just in case the welder blocks are the issue. If so, it's weird since the welders are definitely in range. If not, most likely the subgrid projection is too close to another block (somehow), maybe the "Hinge Proj Ball" hidden in the terminal is not at 0 deg (which is weird since it's locked). If you deleted some blocks around the projection, would that allow the welding blocks to weld it?
yeah, it works fine when I place my own spheres, and I have looked inside, I'm pretty sure it's just the projection being too close to a welder or maybe pivot, because the welders don't even build the corner block that holds the ball. whether or not they're activated manually or by the system. The strange thing is even after respawning it, the ball still doesn't print
From my own testing while making it, sometimes there is a floating ball in the space where the projection is welded, due to a failure of some sort during the new ball cycle, so if you haven't gotten under the field to check, that may likely be the issue: delete the floating ball and cycle the New Ball to get one ready. If the issue is something else like that the projection isn't welding, I'm aware that if a projection on a subgrid is too close to another block, it wont weld (thus the half blocks above), or somehow the welders are out of range. I don't seem to have those issues on my end.

Otherwise a simple way around it to continue playing is to place a ball (decoy or any large grid block) yourself, or perhaps delete the grid and paste the original blueprint again.

I'm running into a small problem, for some reason the ball won't come up, I've tried changing types and pressing new ball but nothing happens, for some reason the welders aren't doing anything despite being on, I think this is probably a space engineers bug but maybe there's a way to get around it?
Yep, only possible because of the new event controllers. There was a bit of a learning curve
This looks incredible! I can't believe this is possible in SE without scripts, that must have been a ludicrous amount of work! I'm definitely going to try it out, even if I've never played rocket league.
Thank you, I'm glad I got it to work

Hey can we use ur RL for a tournament on youtube for the next summer?
NICE!! Its obvious you put some work into this.

Thank you! Funny thing, I haven't played RL, but I have watched a fair amount

I'm not a fan of Rocket League, but your work is really nice.
