Ive been working on a tf2 game/mod and had the same idea as you to make a giant like your who carries the bomb. If you want you could join our project and talk with me. It would spare time for modeling and animations.

I think the grating part could either be turned into a more detailed grate, or just be replaced with a flat metal texture.

I'm not a fan of the "anthropomorphic TF2 machines" craze, but this here is very impressive.
