Yes that is a common issue. You can do some things to get around that. The easiest approach is to try different seeds. You can also use the HD Helper Lora. Controlnet also helps and it generates pictures exactly as you want once you get used to it (usually what I use).

All the models I've tried struggle to produce widescreen pictures. Could you share some tips on how you did that? Most models are trained on square pics

I didn't really save those. But it should not be hard to replicate. You can pick up any popular models from civitai.
