Update on the government thing: turns out it was just mods interacting poorly, for some reason one of the mods I was using at the time just seemed to turn most governments to feudal.

Hey, quick question, I'd really appreciate an answer, I am looking for a standalone mod that makes it so you don't have toi manually give out viceroyalities EVERY time a vassal viceroy dies, instead you get an pop up wheather you'd like to pass on that title to their kid or keep it for yourslef. Does this mod have this feature? And If not, do you know any that would?

i think the mod is preventing me as a caliph from adopting the imperial administration law. It says I need to be a king to adopt this law

Just a bug report, the mod invalidates the government of a nomadic small clan uprising, since they would have no holdings when rising up. This either steals your population until you split clan, but I wanted to report it since it is a vanilla feature for Nomads.

depends on whether the conditions are dynamic or not.

in your specific example, the book that would be created as a Confederate ruler would be "on confederate warfare". because it's dynamically created, it will check specifically for the Confederate government type rather than the Feudal one. "on feudal warfare" would be inactive for Confederate/Imperial rulers.

Do the new goverment types count as existing one for events, decisions and other mods?
For example, if you create the "on feudal warfare" book, do you still get to use it with imperial and confederate governments?:al1kasumi:

as far as I can tell, most converters go by government group rather than actual government type, so most of the governments from this mod would simply turn into standard monarchies.

I haven't played with this mod much yet, (or that many mods, to be honest) but it looks very successful in bringing life to the game (Probably more effective than most of the DLC) so good job, author!

I'm not really sure what it is you're looking for then. You can already adopt Imperial succession as a monastic feudal realm with this mod, and without the ability to hold cities it would mostly just be a more restricted version of the regular monastic feudal government (can't usurp kingdoms/empires, can't imprison without just cause, etc.) so I don't know why you'd want that.

But a monastic imperial government type would be different from confederate, it would be the imperial version of the monastic feudal government type, it wouldn't be the same as confederate because you wouldn't be able to hold cities and the whole imperial tributaries & independence thing wouldn't apply.

Hey man you probably don't care but I fixed up the grammar for the mercenary government description.

"Mercenary bands are unscrupulous armies for hire who offer their services to anyone who can afford them with no regard for faith or loyalty. They treasure payment above all else and will readily betray any employer that does not provide it in time. Mercenary bands have no dynastic persistence, rendering this government type unplayable."

Maybe take a look at the "elder kings" mod? That might give some ideas, sorry just trying to be helpful. If you are looking for more governments to add as well I have a idea. Zoroastrian states were run by a monarch who was elected by the priesthood and Zoroastrian governments also did not care about the religion of there subjects. So maybe you could add a government called "Asha Feudalism" that uses priests as the electors like the theodemocry govement that Mormons use in the "after the end" mod, and make it so this government makes vassals not care about your religion. Just a idea.

Are you going to add a way to use the Confederate government for any nation? like the skyrim mod where you can adopt a Confederate government if you have very decentralized laws. Or like your own imperial administration mod. I think it would be very cool especially if people are going to play total overhaul mods like after the end
I would also like to say thanks for making this mod, it does help make the game much better and I use like 1/2 of your mods.
