Because it was exclusively a ranged character in the other games?

Why ppl are so obsessed with making ranger as a mainly ranged character? Name have nothing to do with use of ranged weapon.

I have not changed the weapon values from when it was was a sword. I will do a tuning pass later to be comparable to the other classes.

The shooting faster while standing still is a quirk of copying the skill over from the base. I want to look into this as so far also attack speed does nothing for the m1.

Pierce is actually weird. in the base class the m2 actually applies pierce to every projectile but the other projectiles either have 0 pierce or 999 pierce so it is unnoticeable.

I think I want to add more of a cd on m2 so you are primarily using m1.

In v0.2, in the m2 is visually different than m1

The name of unique bows and quivers should be fixed in v 0.2 and have a bow icon for the mainhand weapons. The off hand will still use a sword for now.

pretty good mod so far, not sure if its a coincidence but weapon stats seems way stronger than vanilla game(like any common apprentice weapon having same damage as a rare adept of other classes), piercing of m1 applies to m2 too and all point for upgrading'' base damage of m1 is 1(should be 1/2/3/4/5), also the dodge roll reseting the m1 animation is pretty cool but for some reason when you shoot standing still the attack speed goes a lot higher. I mean if any of this is intentional I guess its not a big deal since game is very challenging but just wanted to let this feedback, my suggestion is making the m2 a more burst/high stamina cost and letting m1 as main dps

hopefully more new class mods get release (personally making a eldritchsoul class that is combination of bone cage, a in progress beam attack, a master level wisp summoning spell and parts of wizard and warlock)
