yeah okay this guy is busted lol

so i heard about this mod awhile ago but havent tried it till now. went into singleplayer just to see the revive mechanic and initial impressions: for a guy with revives he is SUPER tanky. (he survived 1 palm-strike from ninja btw) and i havent even tried a single one of his moves yet. i know 15K is the standard for yomi ever since ivysly made that change to deal with powercreep but here it might need to be toned back just a bit. maybe 10K or even 7.5K could work since he has 3 lives to start with. and maybe just a bit lower of a defense so you is even more flimsy. very cool concept though, i'll get back to you after i play a few matches with him.

like lower the health of the summons drastically no revives lower the damage of blaze by alot and lose some of his zoning abilities cause theres alot on the screen and i mean ALOT other than that love the lich/necromancer vibes

ive had this uninstalled for a while and for good reasons, this guy is pretty much in control of neutral by default, his clones are unkilllable, and can give himself extra lives with, what like 1 or 2 levels? basicly unkillable zoner that has better normals than you have, peak design, but hey if you enjoy the challenge of a 30 minute fight every once in a while, or wanna play them yourself, go ahead hes pretty well made from the perspective of animation and sound effects

This mod feels like a chore to fight. Nothing about him is fun to play against, I have killed the same guy twice and he just keeps giving himself revives. This is not good gameplay, I'd suggest if his passive is to revive, you give him an entirely different move set and he can only revive once, kinda like sion from league or ludwig the accursed from bloodborne, changing his moveset halfway through the match. This helps keep variety, forcing the player to not just do the same thing over and over and over, and makes the match against him more fun.

summons are fine i see people deal with them all the time fix replays and theres some other bugs other than that i love playing as and against this guy

Nerf the stupid summons, they're too smart for a character who can have FOUR summons onscreen at a time, not to mention they also do too much damage, are hard to hit, and are tanky. The stupid summons NEED a nerf. Everything else I'm fine with, including the projectile spam, they barely do any dmg and any hitsun, so they're fine in my book, but the summons NEED a nerf.

fighting this character was the worst experience i've ever had in this game, there's way too many projectiles, and the fullscreen laser he can just do at any time without meter is complete bs

This character is hell to fight against, and covers so much of the screen with projectiles, it is impossible to tell what is going on.

One of my favorite characters. Just encountered some bugs with the latest. None of my summons died when their lifebars reached zero and I was reviving with only half health (I don't *think* I was getting combo'd for that much after my bar ended?)

I was messing around in singleplayer, and I encountered a bug where, after Robot used KILL_PROCESS (or whatever that move is called) on Crossbones, Crossbones got stuck in the knockback animation and was immune to all damage, leading to a softlock.

Also fix shit with laser that YOMI 'prediction' makes false predictions about it

this character is genuinely stupidly strong with their revive mechanic just saying no to combos.
they also break in replays.

nevermind you just have to hold twice after using respite

what is respite supposed to do? restore a life? it doesn't do that if so.

I do like the character tho :)

not ONLY does this consistently crash my game due to the summons being highly spammable and laggy, but being able to keep a good 25% of the workshop perminantly away while just giving yourself more lives is a boss character. know what your subscribing too.

love this character and the play style is honestly one of my favourites, only issue is the replays not working properly. for example i did a fight where i was winning as crossbones but upon replay the summons didnt show up, the system got very confused on where we were and suddenly i was losing Dx

this mod is broken legit breaks your replay after ur second res sprites for the lives dont work properly

So far in the matches I play him his life bar is sort of bugged. Adding lives shows the additional cross but I died after my third life despite having four. Then I had one where it showed I had two lives despite not having two lives. Love the character though, still learning to play him. I'll keep playing him and try to report any other bugs I notice

Actually let me add on to that last comment of mine. Just did another match with him. Complete lost in the replay despite during the match I won.

The only issue I have seen with crossbones so far is replay issues. Sometimes in the fight the to characters switch places along with his summons never showing up.

Needs replay fix maybe instead of reviving he just brakes apart and reforms. (love the character though)

does he die if you somehow combo his health down to 0 after defeating him

sometimes it also has crossbones spawn under the enemy despite landing elsewhere
