A few of the faces with manual versions, (particularly Saint and Hunter, and although they don't have a manual version, Arti too,) when it comes to their recolorable face variants, would probably benefit more from having their secondary shade being translucent instead of the darker shade of gray, kind of like how it was done for the "anti-aliasing" on Gourmand's face.
There are very, very few situations where it really makes sense for what is supposed to be an inbetween color from the face color to the skin turning into the darkest of the three, and it has the effect of making Hunter's scar look like a much more prominent gash, along with making it look like Saint has three big holes in their head.

the only thing that has happened was that i made vanilla plus, which has a smaller eye variant. but there has never been a change in rivulet's eye size.

that'd add like a million variants i don't want to make yet. that plus i'm planning on moving the non-essential skin contents to its own sister mod.

like portrait vanilla plus? (it'd be kinda redundant as vanilla plus already resembles portrait legs)
or portrait fatal? (which is already planned but i want to redo the walk cycle for portrait again, it's not as smooth as i wanted it to be)
i already got some vplus stuff planned as well, but it's not inv. maybe later down the line i will. might get impulsive idk.

I love the cutscene slugcat aesthetic, but would like to make two skin variants for a partially rotted and white speckled variant.

I've said it before that i scrapped it. it was not worth remaking due to the fact that it was barely different from the base head
each folder is labeled very clearly. you can find it in the mod's workshop folder by looking for it via its id. (which you can find in the link to this mod)

I thought each slugcat has at least unique head as i think was case in last iteration of mod, and was thrown off that Arti was gone, but I guess I can see what you mean. I'll check next time I'll play.
Also are templates in mod foles I assume? Or i download them from somewhere else? Sorry if asking that sounds dumb but I never really did any moding, including for rain world, so I know close to nothing if it comes to it =v="

also i scrapped the head sprite for arti. i directly mentioned that when the revamp released.
yea i'd like to eventually, but only after i sift out the bonus accessories into a sister mod.
arti only has face sprites and scar sprites. all you'll need to do is equip the base set for the body.
hunter has hip, tail and body sprites (and an optional back rot head sprite)
both fatal sets are completely asymmetric (and my finest work, big fan of those)

I just wanted to ask if there's any chance you'll add a variant of the basic Cutscene Arti face where the scar is incorporated into the face texture itself, like you did with the Arti Fatal face and its variants (thus removing the need to use the separate scar texture that floats off at times).
hunter doesn't have unique legs, and arty has only the head from what i remember, just make a preset with the default slugcat then add the specific parts
Anyway, I have two questions-
1 - Is it normal that I can't find CS Artificer's skin? I see fatal one but there is no normal one in sight, and hunter has only their torso from what I could find...
2 - Can I sue this mod as template to make skins for my and my friend's custom slugcats? I don't know will it go public or not, but I want to ask regardless just to make sure you're okay with it (and ofc I'll credit you, even if mod will stay private :> )
you need to delete your customization.dat file in local low. if you're not sure how to get to local low. you can search it up. but i'm kinda not responsible for when dms decides to freak out :(
