What did I will say I do like the mod developer because one they did something X4 foundation was too lazy to do when I know they could do it they just choose not to I don't know why but for instance there's like three or four military factions I believe and with every military faction especially if they are military the opposed to have battleships not just cruises and thanks to this mod developer each fashion does have about a ship but I wish only the military faction had the battleships not some of the other ones it'll kind me a little sense but at the same time yeah and not only that some of the lasers are just slightly overpowered oh yeah also sorry about my previous message I was kind of drunk lol

Yeah. I'm waiting for the Boron update because those Megalodon's are itching for a space-swim. Great mod for a great game. Thank you for increasing the awesome factor.

After continuing to observe since version 8.0, we have discovered the following issues, which I would like to report.

1. Boron ships can now be equipped with timeline parts.

2. Timeline ships can now be equipped with Boron parts.

3. The Irukandji's only armament is now proton guns and torpedoes.

4. Sharks can no longer be equipped with large turrets.

5. Megalodon engines, shields, and medium turrets can no longer be equipped.

Is it possible to play VRO (and some other mods, supplementing VRO) with the Diplomacy Beta, or must we wait until the official release (and some more Days, depending on your Speed of making an Update)? This is not an offence, rather a questing of Interest:) Love your VRO.

VRO from nexus should be fine

I accidentally DLed this and also have the Nexus version of both VRO & VRO Assets, I tried unsubbing so I didnt have duplicate VRO Assets, but it wouldn't let me load - now I removed VRO from my files and it seems to work.

Will there by any issues if I use VRO from Nexus & VRO Assets from Workshop? Does it internally still work? Is there a way for me to test that?

How come VRO is now installed on my PC, from Steam, when I've not installed it and it's not even showing up on my extensions folder and it wasn't on my PC yesterday?

May I ask your assistance with some information? My question is why is all the letters red with the word error in VRO, i turned off timelines and VRO Assets turned white letters but the others are required, any tips?

this has nothing to do with any of my mods, some of UI mods you use most probably is broken

there is!!! there is a mod that removes travel drive from the game .. but does not work with vro for some reason..? that is why i use rebalanced mod by (someone) ((no more puny hull or shields)) but less selection of ships /guns and because i think travel drives are lame as are superhighways... make the Map feel really small when u can travel from one end to the other in 10 min or its free ;p any it sucks .. cus he is not planing on updating it. when 7. comes out :( and does not have all the shiny's vro has a.k.a guns/ships missles ect.. i guess im just going to learn how to mod!! can not, not have the best update! ;p

@knightphantom420 yea like to see a better implementation of drive boost than just draining your shields, as like with older X games using energy cells for warp jump, may be a small fuel tank for energy cells for the boost?

I would love to play with this mod... there are so many cool ships and weapons ...but...I (((hate)) the travel drive (soo lame) makes the universe feel so small .. is there a way you can make a patch that disables the travel dive/boost and how it depletes ur shields (so f-ing dumb) ty in advance if u can will do that

Thanks. I had to spend a while messing with the files and folder, subscribing and unsubscribing. Eventually managed to get it working again somehow. No idea why the game got into such a state.

nothing to do with the mod itself, but its installation
try unsubscribing and deleting the folder for it and then resubscribing

Beyond that, i have no control over how steam works with installation of mods

I've been getting an error in my extensions list on VRO Assets:

> Location " already used by another extension

This stops it loading, and thus also stops VRO base from loading. I can no longer play any of my save games :(

@DarthMalak VRO is an abbreviation for Variety and Rebalance Overhaul

If I search for VRO in the workshop it only comes up with VRO assets.. Where is the main mod?

RoR has optional dependencies, meaning they can run without each other.
I cannot do that, as VRO Assets file is mandatory.

@shuulleech that should not be the case Rise of the Ossian Raider and 2 both have each other as dependencies and they work fine. i don't know how it works i wish i could help more

Love your mod, brother. I don't enjoy the game without it. Can you make it a bit more clear from the VRO mod main page that you require this and why? And directly link it?

I meant on the Steam page. You already mention you need the main VRO mod. Might be useful to also link to it through a Steam workshop page dependency.

Its impossible to add cross-dependencies between mods, they will fail to load as dependencies indicate load order.

Might be a good idea to explain why this exists in the description, and perhaps add the main mod as dependency.

the mod has been split into 2 part, the mod and the assets required by the mod, you need to download the mod and the assets to make the mod work correctly both can be downloaded from steam workshop

Some description please. Do I need the (broken) VRO from steam? Is it addon to VRO from nexus? Questions over questions... ^^
