the updated version version is as large as the original weapon pack, if not bigger. so much for "compressed".

I wish we could still use this version, the new one requires so many mods and kind of ruins the purpose of the downsize in the first place

Everybody thinks that only decreasing texture quality improves performance but nobody minds in delete the fucking Model(".mdl") and leave only ".mdl" in SWEP.VModel and SWEP.WorldModel on shared.lua to avoid MW Base to precaching the entire arsenal main models that bloats the RAM with weapons that you will not even use due nobody will use all the weapons in a match, causing by the way crashes and black screens due the out of RAM and increasing loading times a lot, also for the love of god compress textures, 350 MB for only a weapon without custom attachments its too high, if you want to keep quality then at least compress Diffuses and Speculars to DXT5 with the max resolution leaving Normals uncompressed, this saves a lot of weight without much downgrade being even unnoticeable for high resolution textures.

I limit myself to 50 mods installed at once, this is going to prove incredibly useful because I won't have to individually download the base and all of the weapon types. thank you sincerely, compressor person
